Dishonest business practices - don valley Toyota - WIEN Went to source a 2018 Toyota RAV4. Called ahead to book a test drive. Dealership was empty. Only one other customer with their family. Dealership receptionist were polite and friendly. They are the only honest staff we encountered. Salesman Ralph was initially very polite and professional. I explained my ask. Provided ID and test drive the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about the product. When we completed the test drive and returned to the dealership then I ran into major headaches. Wish I had left at that point. After 1hr of asking for a quote I gave up. The dealership staff started playing games. Clearly deceptive marketing practices. Very dishonest negotiations. I do not have time for this. The reason is that Don Valley Toyota is not registered with OMVIC due to deceptive marketing practices. 1. Consumers are entitled to full disclosure of a vehicle’s past-use, history and condition as well as all material facts that could otherwise change the mind of the consumer entering into the contract. (Dealership Refused to provide full disclosure of material facts to customers.) 2.If an advertisement includes the price of a vehicle, that price must include all fees and charges the dealer intends to collect. HST and licensing (actual cost of vehicle registration and plates) do not have to be included in the price so long as the ad clearly states they are not included. (Dealer Refused to provide quote and full disclosure of costs. Insisted build sheets (online estimates are quotes; they are not.) 3. There is no consumer law that covers private transactions. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own. (Don Vslley dealership network (WEIN group) has had most of its OMVIC registration cancelled due to the above abuse. Tried to obtain a quote and order a RAV4. Got a test drive. Then the games began when I asked for a quote. I Provided all the material facts, term of lease, deposit, color trim features etc. Instead of prices and a quote to order a vehicle I received a Complete runaround. Avoid this Toyota dealership at steels & Victoria park. Do not waste your time with dishonest trade practices. No transparency. No legitimate above board dealing. Just crude used car salesmen flogging mid-year products. Terribly disappointed. Have purchased two vehicles from Toyota and two from don valley Lexus previously. Declining practices. Would avoid this dealer and the brand. Avoid. avoid. Avoid. Go anywhere else your choice. More

Hameed and others showed us where everything was and explained the car features very well. He was able to give good prices on extras like rust protection, sensor installation and extended warranty protection snow tires and rims, protector tape for the hood. The dealer spent alot of money fixing a hazard switch after we took possession because it was integrated with other electronics. The dealer replaced the brake fluid at our request even though we purchased the car before it was three years old. The dealer recertified the car at our request and provided us with a new certification certificate once the hazard light switch was replaced. All staff were honest and friendly. I recommend this dealership for after sales service (a great seminar was given for new owners) and for selection, quality and price of used cars. They also recleaned the car after receipt and reapplied fabric protector after we took delivery. They touched up the paint in several spots after we took delivery and waxed the car. Hameed ensured there were extra rubber mats in the car. More

Our latest purchase of a 2017 Highlander was no different. Our Sales and Leasing Consultant Sam Francella was a pleasure to deal with and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We reside out of town and utilize DVNT for all of our vehicle purchases and service. Excellent Friendly Service and Staff Went in for a Quick Lube and Oil service. Said it could be 90 minutes. It took half the time. Nice people to deal with in service dept. Don valley north charged 8 1dollars but I have paid only 62 bucks during 2years with same service from yorkdale toyota. Same synthetic oil "ow20" used but service person tried to convince that other location may not use same synthetic oil and charged more. This is first time to visit don valley toyota service but I won't come this location anymore. I am strongly NOT recommend this location. More
It Used to be Good. I had been buying/serving my two Toyotas for more then nine years at this dealership... About two years ago the service started going down - longer ho I had been buying/serving my two Toyotas for more then nine years at this dealership... About two years ago the service started going down - longer hours and bigger bills... Eventually I started suspecting that they were overcharging me by replacing parts that did not needed to be replaced and adding more work hours, but my faith in them as professionals was strong and I kept coming... Today, just accidentally, I figured out that they charge 20% more for parts and almost 60% more for their labour as compare to other Toyota dealerships - because of "high operational costs" - so if you want to pay your dealership the plastic surgeon rates - that is your dealship.... Moreover, if you have issues with tires or batteries you bought from them - they dont want to work with you to minimize replacement costs... So, its sad that after years of commitment and thousand dollars spent at this dealership I have to walk away with a hard heart..... Defenitely not A TOYOTA EXPERIENCE..... STAY AWAY from this place... More
