Amazing Service! I bought my 2nd vehicle from Davis Chevrolet 3 years ago and have taken it to them for all servicing since the purchase. I have always been happy wit I bought my 2nd vehicle from Davis Chevrolet 3 years ago and have taken it to them for all servicing since the purchase. I have always been happy with the service I have received but tonight they went above and beyond! When leaving work tonight my key broke off of the fob as I was turning it in the ignition, prior to the car starting. No matter what I did I could not get it to turn over. Needless to say I was a little panicked; as I have no idea where my spare key is and of course I was stuck in my work parking lot. I made a frantic call to Davis and Barry Wong walked me through various steps (with the utmost patience) and I was finally able to start the vehicle. I explained I did not know where my spare key was and would need to order a new one, which he advised could take a few days as they had to be laser cut and programmed. I work 10 minutes away and told him I would like to stop by to see if there was anything that could be done so I was not without my vehicle. He assured me he would be there waiting. I showed up just after 5:00 and he met me right away and told me they had a key in stock, another gentleman in the service dept (sad to say I did not get his name); called out and said he was cutting it at that moment. Barry said he had no one to program it; which was undestanable given the time, and we arranged for me to bring it in tomorrow and he would get it in right away. In the meantime let's see what we can do about getting it started for you until then, we tried various options and ended up locking the ignition (good to know the anti theft works.....lol). Barry then said we would have to wait about 20 minutes and try again. Off I went to the sitting area thinking I was going to end up having to leave my car over night and call work in the morning to tell them I would be late coming in....20 minutes later in comes Barry to say the car was running and he handed me a brand new key fob! I don't know how he got it programmed for me but was a very happy and surprised customer let ....I reached for my wallet to pay him and he told me to have a wonderful evening and there would be no charge! This is a great team of people, who at the end of their long day did not hesitate to do what needed to be done to look after me and went above and beyond to do so. I purchased a used truck from davis last week and the process was absolutely fantastic. They took over my old truck as a trade in and i feel they give me a more than fair price for it. I had an issue with the truck purchased from them ( found a dent on the roof after taking possession of the vehicle ). I called my salesman moe and he took care of it within the same day. wow! that was probably the best costumer service I received from a car dealer in my life. Thank again moe! One small negative complaint is that I felt like the finance department had some communication problem since 2 different person we're working with me. More
