This was my second new-vehicle buying experience with Sunshine Toyota and, like the first, was a most positive experience. Sylvia was a most pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional sales associate and she made the visit to the dealership more like a get-together with a friend. When the disucssion turned to trade-in values and financing she listened to my needs and responded proactively with the finance manager. Subsequently working with Mike Cunningham to finalize the details of my purchase was an equally pleasant and smooth transition to taking possession of my new vehicle. All in all, my recent experience at Sunshine was, again, extremely positive, not to mention, the lovely bottle of wine that accompanied my send-off from Sylvia, followed up by phone contact and a lovely thank-you note! I had initially brought in my car for routine servicing and noticed a problem with the vehicle after it was returned to me. This could have been an extremely unpleasant, costly and inconvenient experience and noticed a problem with the vehicle after it was returned to me. I felt like they bent over backwards to accommodate me and made sure that my concerns were addressed. Never was I made to feel that my concerns or requests were unreasonable and my service rep. (Kris Wintink), made every effort to ensure that my concerns were addressed. I have never experienced such dedication and professionalism when having my vehicle serviced anywhere - kudos to you Sunshine Toyota and particularly Kris. Shopping for a new car is always a bit of a challenge, at the best of times :) The product advisors at this dealership are extremely knowledgeable and completely willing to spend as much time as it takes the best of times :) The product advisors at this dealership are extremely knowledgeable and completely willing to spend as much time as it takes to ensure you understand the vehicle you're interested in. They are also willing to discuss pricing, options, and put all the "extra" fees right on the table (literally... taped right to the sales desk!) so there are no surprises in the finance office. The sales manager, Chris Goulet, was attentive, patient and committed to making a deal. He was easy to access outside of the dealership (via email or cellphone) and was very personable. The finance manager, Corey Sawatzky, was extremely efficient and knowledgeable about the options, and was very helpful in ensuring the finance component of the process went as smoothly as possible. I also dealt with Simon Pledger, who took time at the end of a very long (and rainy!) day to show me the new features of the vehicle. Throughout my time at the dealership, I met and spoke to a number of Product Advisors, and they were all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I leased a 2011 Corolla... my third Corolla and fourth Toyota...and it's been fantastic. 500 kilometers on the first tank of gas! I just leased my 5th Corolla, the last 3 being from Sunshine Toyota, and had a great experience from beginning to end. A couple of months later I called Ron to make an appointment to see about leasing a new Corolla. Ron was excellent throughout the process. He listened to what I was looking for and was very friendly, informative and professional. I would recommend him to anyone who was looking to purchase/lease a Toyota. Ryan, who I did all the paperwork/financials with, was very friendly and pleasant. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions I had. Overall the entire process from beginning to end was a great experience. During my time at the dealership, Kris from the service department would pop over from time to time to see how things were going which I appreciated. We generally found it to be a good experience, however after making an appointment for a specified time I had to wait for over an hour (with my younch child). That was inconvenient for us.
