Wanted another Mazda - Honda wasn't doing it for us! We are previous owners of a Mazda3 and after many many kilometers and years it finally gave up the ghost so we thought we would try a Honda Fit. It never did live up to its billing so we began thinking about another Mazda. We had heard through a family member that Courtenay Mazda was having a Private Event so we knew this was a great chance to get back in a Mazda. Gaye, our sales person, was extremley informative in explainig the new CX-3, it features, new technologiesand what it would do to enhance our lives. She was great! Corey the Owner was awesome as well, he greated us with a smile when we were in the showroom, treated us very fairly with our trade and helped us with an amazing deal on our new CX-3. Chad was very informative when presenting the financial portion of the sale and also treated us with repsect and was very polite in his time with us. All in all, a fantastic car buying experience and we will be telling everyone what an amazing dealership Courtenay Mazda is. More

This is the best place to buy a vehicle - AWESOME! We drove up from Sidney BC to look at a few of the cars Courtenay Mazda had on their lot. We did not have an appointment as we were not quite sure what time we would arrive. We had gotten some information from Gaye via email the day before. When we arrived, Gaye greeted us warmly, but had to rush off to another couple who had booked an appointment, but not before she made arrangements with Barry to assist us. We test drove a Mazda3 Sport with low profile wheels and a CX-5. I did not feel comfortable with the low profile car, so we tested out one without them. WOW. But, we wanted the first car that we drove as it had a few more options, so they looked into different tires that could be put on. We suggested just swapping the wheels from one car to the other, and PRESTO, it was done. Barry has a wonderful sense of humour, and he made us feel right at home and at ease. At no time was there any pressure put upon us which we have experienced at other dealerships. Barry was very patient with us when going over the options in the car - most of which we had never had before, and Barry, this one is for you -we are so, so pleased to be driving something from the 21st century. Thank you also to Zach for making such delicious popcorn. We definitely would recommend Courtenay Mazda if you are looking for a no hassle, no pressure, enjoyable car purchasing experience! A great experience for our family. We were looking for an (almost) new car for my Mom and Dad and worked with Gaye to find something that would fit for their needs. Gaye took the time to fully understand and appreciate the situation, to find out what would be important for both my parents and to find the right car for them. She kept in contact with us over a few weeks and kept us informed. When the timing was right, she made herself available to us. Gaye could have oversold us - she probably could have sold us a car with more bells and whistles on it than the Mazda 3 we bought, but I think she really understood the needs of her clients in NOT doing so! I felt she really listened to my parent's needs and respected them as customers. She worked hard to get them set up well with a new car (from this century!) . Also, thanks to the business staff who dealt with all the paperwork and finalized the deal - Corey and Chad were organized and efficient. It all went very smoothly. Great folks, excellent customer service! I was warmly welcomed by Gaye and Corey and felt like I had been invited into a family home rather than a car dealership. While I am not looking for a replacement vehicle right now, I was curious about what Mazda has to offer. What they offer is a team that cares about each other, their business, and definitely their customers! I got the impression that Corey and his team would go way above and beyond to keep me happy as a customer. I have typically done most of my own routine vehicle maintenance over the years, but am not as keen on it as I once was. Gaye explained Courtenay Mazda's oil change program and I believe my vehicles will get the same care and attention to detail from the service department as if I had done the work myself. They inspire that kind of confidence! I am glad I dropped in and am looking forward to many more wonderful experiences with the great folks at Courtenay Mazda! More

emergency visit I had a tire light come on and knowing that I needed to have it looked at I enquired about a dealer where I was at the time. Although I deal at another Mazda on the island, I would recommend the Courtenay dealer for anyone in that area. The people were friendly and courteous and fit me in ASAP.
