Gaye Williams gave me knowledgeable advice and followed up. No pressure, just a really good learning (and test drive) experience with an informed and enthusiastic product representative. Gaye knows vehicles and driving, and her overall knowledge as well as her product knowledge shines through. My only reason for giving Courtenay Mazda 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because I didn't buy, at least this go-round, so I can't assess a "complete buying experience". But the time there helped me zero in on my own decision criteria, and that is a large part of what a good sales experience should be about. I'd certainly recommend Courtenay Mazda - sound dealership, excellent representative. More

Barry Barry he's our man! I walked into the dealership to inquire about an advertised truck, to my surprise no one rushed up to me like I was 'fresh meat'. Instead, I did get a nice greeting by Barry as I walked toward him. He was completely obliging, quick to grab the truck keys and offer me a test drive. I took the truck all the way to the freeway to see how it performed, in all about a 30 minute test run. I told him I'd meet him later at the dealership after my wife was off work. Barry didn't even flinch or suggest I hurry because it 'could be sold before then', he just handed me his card and said I'll see you later today. In the end we purchased the truck a day later and never once felt a hard sell approach. Kudos to Barry and Courtenay Mazda for an easy going experience. More

Great Off-Site Sales Service! I am from the mainland and my fiancee works at the military base there in Comox. He was driving by and saw the 2011 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 sitting in thei I am from the mainland and my fiancee works at the military base there in Comox. He was driving by and saw the 2011 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 sitting in their lot as we were on the phone together (hands free, of course :)). The following day he went to take a look at it and dealt with Mike Milne. After his initial once over and test driving, I called Mike later in the day and asked him a billion questions as I was on the mainland. He was very very helpful and answered most of the questions I threw at him. The ones he didn't know the answer to at the time he followed up with me afterwards! It was great dealing with Mike and it was all over the phone. Everything was handled before the end of the day and I had pretty much bought myself a car. Then I finally met him and Chad (who was an awesome financial guru) when I came over a few days later to make the car mine and drive it happily back to the mainland the same day! Their mobile insurance broker, Charlene, was great as well! More

Our sales person, Barry Davis, was extremely helpful, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. We never felt pressured and he never tried to push another product. He knew what we wanted and very patiently helped us out. When we took delivery of the vehicle we noticed that the owner's manual was missing. Barry said he would try to track one down, but we were like "Yeah, right. You've made the sale and you're done." We were prepared to purchase the manual ($110! from the manufacturer's local dealer) after a fruitless search but then a couple of weeks later Barry called us and said he found one! Amazing. Everyone at Courtenay Mazda was great but Barry's the best! More
