Mike sold us our first and second Mazda ~ the latter of which has been given to our grandson as his first car and he is now one thrilled Mazda owner too. Mike not only went over my new Mazda "bells & whistles" with me but also with grandson on his inherited vehicle. I have had excellent service checkups; absolutely NO problems with the vehicles and it is always such a pleasure to visit with Mike (and enjoy his "super special" coffee). You can look at reviews and see that Mazda is on top and you can read articles as well but until you actually get behind the wheel, it is impossible to decide. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Mazda, which I might add are a bulletproof vehicle with few recalls and maintenance problems. Great Buying Experience! I have not dealt with a car dealership for some years, but the process - at least at Courtenay Mazda - has certainly changed for the better. No taking an offer back and forth to the "invisible" Sales Manager. Just a courteous and professional dialogue with Corey - the owner - while the Sales Associate - Barry Davis - sat in to be part of the conversation, after an exiciting test drive of an MX5, and providing knowledgeable answers to my many questions. A deal was eventually concluded in a very calm and quiet manner, with Chad then taking over to take care of the paper work. This was a great experience and Inhabe no hesitation in recommending this dealership to others. More

Zoom Zoom...x 2! My husband was looking to purchase or lease a SUV type of vehicle; I was considering a new vehicle also. We had been to a couple of other dealerships, and had been researching a few different makes of cars. We inadvertently came across the Mazda CX-5 and CX-3 online- great reviews and ratings for both- when we were researching another car. So we figured we would check them out. Off to Courtenay Mazda we went! We were greeted in the lot by a very friendly salesperson- Chantelle Vaillancourt. Chantelle was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If we asked a question that she wasn't sure of the answer to, she was honest and said she would find out- and did. Chantelle answered A TON of our questions respectfully and with patience (we asked a lot of questions...). She was really great to deal with! We also dealt with Corey Sawchuk and Chad Johnston. Corey and Chad were upfront, made the transaction'S' (we loved the CX-5 and CX-3 so much we got one of each!) understandable and transparent, gave us great deals, and answered many, many questions and did various comparative quotes for us. We never felt pressured, and we felt like we were being listened to, respected, and being given the "straight goods". Chantelle, Corey, and Chad were great to deal with, and we recommend them, and Courtenay Mazda to anyone! More
