Great buying experience at Centaur Subaru I recently purchased my 2018 Wrx from Michael Belland and John Leacock at centaur Subaru and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. The I recently purchased my 2018 Wrx from Michael Belland and John Leacock at centaur Subaru and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. These guys don’t fool around, they know their product and are extremely friendly and honest. Michael went the extra mile to secure the right car for me and it arrived weeks before the promised date. No extra fees and are willing to negotiate unlike the other Subaru dealership in town. Thank you Centaur Subaru you have gained another happy customer. More

They don't care about their customers When my 2008 Outback was due for its first timing belt replacement, I also opted to have the head gasket leak fixed, at the advice of Centaur's servic When my 2008 Outback was due for its first timing belt replacement, I also opted to have the head gasket leak fixed, at the advice of Centaur's service dept. The car was in good condition, and I went ahead with the $2,200 service/repair in the hopes of driving it for another 4-6 years. The car didn't even make it to the next oil change. Coincidence? Broke down on the highway. Had it towed to Centaur. They told me the engine needed to be replaced and offered to do so for about $7,000. I ended up donating it to charity. The engine, which should have easily gotten to 400,000 km, had less than $180,000 km on it. We've been loyal Subaru drivers since 1992, and have had 9 of them, but after that experience, my last Subaru was very likely my LAST Subaru. More

Clueless Subaru in general is having plenty of issues with oil consumption problems lately but good luck having Centaur help you out with this. Besides this, Subaru in general is having plenty of issues with oil consumption problems lately but good luck having Centaur help you out with this. Besides this, good luck making a call or booking something in a normal amount of time. I guarantee you'll wait for weeks. No customer parking, no extended hours of service, no weekends, no rides back to Centaur for pickup, no comfortable waiting room.... They say it's a family run dealership, may be they should spend some money on a proper up-to-date facility after all these years. There is a couple sales guys that are decent (a couple only..) but Mike in Service just doesn't have a clue about customer service. In fact the whole service group will let you down. They are always on the defensive. I wonder why?! I can't say the Service Manager at Subaru Calgary is any better 'cause he's really not, nor is the service or wait times but at least you have a comfortable place to wait, a place to park and they can drive you around and pick you up... I really wish there was another option for Subaru warranty service in Calgary... More
Consider Customer Experience We bought our STi and Tribeca from this dealership, and I have taken them here for service throughout their lifetimes. They have worked with us to pro We bought our STi and Tribeca from this dealership, and I have taken them here for service throughout their lifetimes. They have worked with us to provide reasonable service for minor and major work. However, there are no "little extras" that would make me rate them a 5 and HIGHLY recommend them to friends which other dealerships provide: shuttle service - I get dropped off but not picked up car wash (exterior and wipe down interior) - if they keep it all day, it would be nice to have a clean car reduced wait times - open earlier for drop off - spread out the arrivals rather than a big line-up at 8am, have more than 1 driver (Jared is FANTASTIC but he can't be everywhere at once - he remembers where I work and is chatty, or not, depending on the customers). terrible Service The absolute worst service ever. Dont bother calling. no one will answer. they have a message box so dont expect prompt information. Dont call Subaru The absolute worst service ever. Dont bother calling. no one will answer. they have a message box so dont expect prompt information. Dont call Subaru Canada to find out why they are to cheap to have a person answering the phone because they also have a huge wait time/ answering machine for anyone dumb enough to buy a subaru. No matter when you Call or how many times. Same waste of time BS. leave a message and we will get back to you when it suits us More
Bad customer service, bought elsewhere I went into Centaur Subaru to purchase the new 2017 forester. We knew what we wanted and since this dealer was located on the south-side, we went in to work on a deal. The standing and waiting around to move forward and proceed with the sale was agonizing. Unfortunately for them, they are not the only Subaru dealer in town. So after 90 minutes of them playing games and always busy with whoever else, we jumped in our car and drove across town. Had a Deal Done and signed in just under an hr. Subaru does have a good product, thats why we purchased one, but you might as well deal with some decent sales guys as well if you can... More
Good product but poorly run dealership, not female friendly. Consider using Centaur Subaru if you must have a Subaru, Centaur is less pressured and more customer friendly. You can also use Unhaggle or Car Cost Consider using Centaur Subaru if you must have a Subaru, Centaur is less pressured and more customer friendly. You can also use Unhaggle or Car Cost Canada to avoid the sales department completely. The other option is to look at Toyota or Honda which have better sales departments. Notes: - Aggressive young men only in the sales department that appear to be on commission and don't know a lot about the cars. This is not a female friendly place to buy a car. - Not time management skills, they kept us waiting several times. Quite chaotic at times. More
