I was thrilled that the cost of the service was low as I was expecting a major problem with my engine. I would have a little more peace of mind if I knew what caused the oil to leak but I am certain that t was expecting a major problem with my engine. I gave the rating I gave because there is a small issue to be worked out yet. The command start that I had installed seems to be installed a little bit backwards. It would be better if it worked with the vehicle locked. I have a phone call in to the parts department to help me solve this problem. The work was done off-site so it sort of isn't a mistake made by Southgate. More
I have rated this dealership and employees as #5 throughout. This dealership has the 'entire package', bright, clean, modern and most importantly a very friendly and accomodating staff. Regardless of department, everyone is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure the experience is excellent. As a customer, I am always greeted with a smile and on a first name basis. Employees are aware of my expectations and go above and beyond to ensure they are met. I am proud to and have referred many customers who have always come back to me to explain what a exemplary experience they have had. The majority of my dealings are with Doug Macleod and his staff. I can always go to them and, regardless of what I am looking for, they always are able to locate and attain for me. It is my 'one stop' shop !! I have had several encounters with the parts and service department over the last year, most of which related to my purchase of a LS crate engine, ECU, and accessories. Early on I had dealings with Doug an department over the last year, most of which related to my purchase of a LS crate engine, ECU, and accessories. Early on I had dealings with Doug and but for the most part I dealt with Amanda. Both individuals were great, from providing competitor matched pricing to direct to home delivery, to no hassle exchange of my accessory kit, to ordering in auxillary components for me to consider for my swap project without me even committing to purchase. I contacted them on several occasions for part numbers and availabilities. On more than one occasion I purchased a component to see if it would work for my custom application, but later had to return. Everything was always no hassle. Amanda was always quick to respond to my requests. They even set up an appointment for me to speak at length with Derrick in the service department for direction, advise, and referals to help me complete my first crate swap project. Within this time I also bought my Chevy suburban in for an oil change and to touble shoot certian features that no longer work. Again, positive experience. More
