Time for an Upgrade - 2015 Terrain and 2015 Sierra Wow! Do dealerships out there still make the effort to sell vehicles without making you feel like you did the wrong thing afterwards? The answer is.....there is only ONE in this city - Capital GMC Buick! I won't lie, we were around to many dealerships looking to do a possible upgrade for both of our vehicles. However, we were a bit of an emotional sale for two reasons; first, we were really attached to our beautiful Mustang Convertible, and second, we were finally payment free on both of our vehicles! However, it was time to be practical and find two vehicles better suited to our changing climate here in Alberta. And hey, who doesn't like getting something new and improved with that new car smell, right? Anyway, after shopping many brands at multiple dealerships in Edmonton, and finally coming to terms with our budget, what we wanted to do, and how we wanted to do it, there was only one dealership who really went to bat for us. When we walked through the doors at Capital GMC Buick, the face of the dealership for us was Mustafa Oweida. We're not so naive to believe that sales staff don't have a job to do, and that it isn't a difficult one for them, but Mustafa was so far beyond what we ever expected out of a sales agent. Of ALL the dealerships that we visited, he was the only person to take the few minutes to really hear us out and get a genuine feel for what we were looking for. I mean, the guy REALLY went to bat for us!! The entire deal was very transparent, clear, and understandable. None of this trying to hide extra profits or value in a "monthly payment that you are comfortable with". I know where every dollar was spent, and holy cow, I can even understand the sales contract for the very first time in my life!!! All that being said, our experience here was incredible. Right from the moment we walked through the door and were greeted by Mustafa (this kid is really going places!!), through the finance process, and right up until we drove off in our two new vehicles! Terrible Service DO NOT Buy From Here! November 15, 2012, I bought a 2013 GMC Sierra from here. January 23, 2015 mileage 51286 engine light on, oil very dirty & low, may require replacement November 15, 2012, I bought a 2013 GMC Sierra from here. January 23, 2015 mileage 51286 engine light on, oil very dirty & low, may require replacement of oil lifter, manifold filter and oil pressure sensor, even though there was 40% life left on my oil they made me pay for an oil change, there is rusting on paint above front windshield, bumpers, front recovery hooks and running boards. February 18, 2015 service manager said the issue was rust and rust was not covered under warranty, corrosion was covered. I would have to bring the truck in for further inspection to determine the engine light issue. I keep my vehicle in immaculate condition. I have regularly serviced my truck (almost always at the dealer in question & I have receipts to prove this). I only drive my truck on paved roads, in fact I don't think my truck has even been on a gravel road. I also purchased 3M & had my truck's undercarriage and box liner sprayed for protection again all done by the dealer in question. The current mileage is 53212 still under warranty. Oh and $30 to wash my truck? Really? After I spent $50 000+ at your store? Terrible More
