I was purchasing a car for my 16 year old son. I had looked on line (kijiji) and had checked out four dealerships. From the first time I met Don Narcisse; I knew I wanted to buy from him. He was not pushy in any way. The first time I came in I just gave him info on what type of car I was looking for and why. I spent only ten minutes with him at that point. I left him my number. Don called me back the next day with some options. I told him I would come by. My wife and I first went to see another car (2007 focus). We both liked the car and price. It was a two door hatchback and looked like a car my son would like. We then went to see Don with what he had for us. The decision was between the two cars with the first one looking a little more sporty and a year newer. My wife and I left the dealership after telling Don I would be back later in the day (Saturday). We decided to buy from Don. I went back at 5pm and told Don we wanted his car. A sales manager came in to work out the price with us. I had no trade in and would not be financing. I did not negotiate the price to any degree. I told him that I was buying the car because of Don and for "no" other reason. I find most car sales people come across to pushy. This did not happen with Don and I would purchase a car from him again. He was Great to deal with. note--- I moved to Regina long after Don retired from the CFL. I moved here from Vancouver (Lions fan before moving here). I did not buy because of who he was, but because of how he treated me. ___ I did not like the "additional" prices on the purchase. The "dealer fees" etc should be included in the price Posted. No One likes hidden fees.......Bad on the car dealerships for this................ More

Not only did the dealership have exactly what we wanted (GMC extended cab) but also a great selection of them to chose from. We told our salespeople what we were looking for and what our budget was. Tony and Don did a fantastic job of filling our needs, they did everything they could to find us a vehicle within our budget and needs. Tony was open and upfront about giving us the best price he could. Don let us take it for the weekend "test drive" and really get a good feel for the truck. He understood that we had a budget number in mind and did not try to upsell us into more than we wanted. The accesories department was great showing us the options availible (we wanted a spray-in liner and box-cover). Keith showed us all the options and pros and cons of of each to ensure we would be happy with our purchase. this was the first time i had bought a brand-new vehicle in many many years and all-in-all it was a great expierience. We were very impressed at how much Don went out of his way to get us into a new vehicle within our tight budget. We typically will walk away from a dealership if we can't get within reason of what we need way to get us into a new vehicle within our tight budget. We typically will walk away from a dealership if we can't get within reason of what we need, we were originally just browsing and had not intended to buy yet but Don was so wonderful we ended up walking out with a new truck! It wasn't easy to fit us into a new truck within our budget, but for a very small amount over budget Don did it, he had to juggle numbers but was successful. We have already referred friends who are in the market for a new vehicle to go see Don. More
My experience with Capital GMC was very positive. Ian Kearns was great to deal with and tried hard to find options for me when the make and model I had researched didn't work out. I ended up not buying on my first visit but Ian was very good and up-front at answering questions via e-mail about other vehicles that were listed afterwards, and I decided to return to Capital GMC to make a purchase when the right vehicle showed up. I had a bad experience at this dealership with 2 of the finance guys and one salesman about 4 years ago and had another less than positive experience a few months ago while helping my daughter purchase her first vehicle. I decided to give Capital GM one last try and I'm glad I did. Terry and Kevin gave me a completely different experience. I enjoyed the fact that they both listened to what my concerns were and didn't try to pressure me into things I didn't want. I am now a Capital GM customer again and it is Terry and Kevin that deserve the thanks for that. Thanx Fellas !!!! More

Tony had Robert Mimbs work with us as well. My husband and I both felt very comfortable working with both individuals. The experience was completely stress free and very easy from beginning to end. It was nice to work with sales people that immediately recognized, and did not assume, that just because we were purchasing a truck that it would be my husband making the decisions. Comments and questions were directed towards me. This was something that my husband noticed right away too. We were much more comfortable working with individuals that actually listened to us.
