Hello Greg, I tried calling you to find out more information but there was no answer and no voice mail for me to leave a message. Since then your salesperson Al got in touch with you and found out that you thought our parts department was overpriced on all weather mats for your truck and you told both our parts department originally and Al that you could get them for under $200 at Derrick. I pulled up the quote from our parts department and they had quoted you the retail price of $245 but reduced the price for you to $215 in an effort to earn your business. I have since called into two other Dodge dealers acting as a customer to see what they sell them for. One competing dealership was the same price as us and the second, Derrick Dodge that you talk about, was more at $263.93. We will always try to do our best for our customers but some requests just can't be done. Our quote for $215 is still applicable. I believe once you have had time to look that you are going to find our quoted price to be the best price and if you are still interested in getting the mats we would be more the happy to honor that quote for you. The detailer that worked on your vehicle when originally hired took great pride in her work but leading up to the time of your delivery her work was deteriorating and no longer works for our company. I am sorry that during this time it resulted in your bad experience. I will add to your file that your are owed a high quality detailing that will include seat shampooing free of charge if you wish try us again and book an appointment. The detail is a comprehensive detail that usually takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete. I am not sure where the miscommunication happened but also know that due to the miscommunication you received a free oil change, air filter, inspection and battery service. I guess my point is even though a mistake was made regarding what you approved us to work on, we took ownership of the problem and didn't charge you anything more than you were expecting.
