Lies and arrogance After a sketchy deal that turned out to be too good to be true the financing guy made what was a bad situation much, much worse. opportunists and bullies I walked into this dealership looking for a new car (Young guy, good job,....) they had their opportunity. I started by choosing a used vehicle becaus I walked into this dealership looking for a new car (Young guy, good job,....) they had their opportunity. I started by choosing a used vehicle because i want the best value off my money. The guy i spoke to came up to me i convinced me to have a look at the new vehicles as the prices will be similar after some discount and some adjustments that are possible on new vehicles but not on used ones. So we went for that and he started making some kind of contract writing down the details of the car I'm looking for and then the guy asks me for a $1000, I told him no, i still didn't get a test drive or anything, i didn't even see the car. so he said we can't go any further unless i deposit something (The funny thing is he doesn't even know the price of that car nor he is accepting to negotiate he kept running back and forth to his manager's office with a sheet that has the same prices that he keeps saying it's a good deal) . In a little move trying to intimidate me he told me that he taught he was dealing with an adult and a responsible person and he doesn't wanna waste his time. so i told him it takes waaaaaay more to intimidate me. and left and kept walking then went to a dealer nearby which happened to be the best experience i could've ever had.
