Trailer wiring cash grab ! I found this service visit to be another cash grab by the manufacturer and dealer. I purchased this vehicle, used, 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with I found this service visit to be another cash grab by the manufacturer and dealer. I purchased this vehicle, used, 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with the understanding of its ability to tow and it's reliability. The vehicle came with factory installed trailer hitch wiring, which was in the undermount of the car, I had a trailing wiring accessory installed to the already factory installed wiring and I was under the impression that I was good to go and everything should be working. I drove 3 hrs to pick up a trailer only to find out that I had no lights. After hours of problem solving and removing the installed accessory, I found out that I actually had no power to the already factory installed wiring. I drove 3 hrs home with no trailer !!!!!! I went to 2 different dealers and received 2 different answers. I was getting conflicting stories about what I needed to get this wiring working. Turns out that I needed the trailer wiring to be programmed on my vehicle. I needed the already installed wiring to be activated. My frustration comes with the fact this should already come programmed into the vehicle. It's factory wiring and should be active already. There's no need to waste me time to drag me in on my day off to activate something that's already installed. I feel like this was a total waste of my time and an obvious cash grab on the dealers part. It would be no different than having a radio in my car, and then having to go to the dealer to have it Activated or Programed. I was not impressed by the lack of answers, the length of time it took to program the car and the reason that I was forced to go into the dealer !!! More

Very unsatisfied Despite past issues with this dealership, it is where we bought the car so we decided to take it back as the Service Manager was new. Our car was bein Despite past issues with this dealership, it is where we bought the car so we decided to take it back as the Service Manager was new. Our car was being reviewed for shaking in the front end, and a noise, again in the front end, when going over bumps. The noise going over bumps was fixed, but we were told that our one tire needed weights. We had just had new tires put on, so decided that this was an issue with the tire service station that put the new tires on. We promptly took the car down to the that service station, only to quickly find out that there were in fact weights on the tires. We called Bay King with this news, they asked us to bring the vehicle back, the Service Manager went for a drive with us and the best they came up with was the issue being the new tires....so, they sent us on a wild goose chase, charged us 50 bucks for the test drive (even though they had to complete a test drive for the issue under warranty), and the issue still exists. Truth be told, I could write a short novel on the poor service from the service dept., despite spending $50,000 plus on a new vehicle....not to mention, when I took my car in I stood nd watched how the service person searched the web while I waited to be looked after.....the shuttle person was very nice though :) More
