dealer he bought it fron (Barrie Kia). They advised that they were very busy and "might" be able to look at it in a week. OK, they're busy and have the same challenges that everyone does right now, I understand that. But stranding your customers and rendering them unable to get to work indefinitely by not offering a vehicle when the delay is wholly caused by you is unacceptable.
After it sat in their lot for a week, we had it towed to another dealership. They were also busy, but managed to have a look at it. It was a very minor repair, and was looked at, repaired, and back on the road in less than 2 hours.
I am sure that if we had left it at Barrie Kia it would still be sitting on their lot.
We will never bring this vehicle to Barrie Kia for any type of maintenance or for anything else ever again. We will also never buy a vehicle from them, or from any of their affiliated companies (look into it, the ownership owns multiple dealerships in the region and clearly doesn't care).
