Zein took me out for a quick spin in the vehicle I was interested in, and had no problem presenting various features and functions inside and outside of the vehicle. I then put down a deposit, and the car was ready for delivery on Tuesday of the following week. Overall, the car buying experience was excellent. From the test drive to getting approved for financing, the whole process only took a few hours, broken up over several days. I'm satisfied with the purchase of my 2012 Volkswagen Golf, and would willingly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new or used car, whether it be a Mazda or other make. More
Another Mazda for me! I recently traded in my Mazda3 for another Mazda3 and am very happy with it. This is my 5th Mazda now and my kids thought i should have changed it up I recently traded in my Mazda3 for another Mazda3 and am very happy with it. This is my 5th Mazda now and my kids thought i should have changed it up just for the sake of something different, but i am loyal to the brand - why would i go elsewhere when i love the cars, have had no issues ( my last one had 180,000 kms and never had any problems, probably would have gone another 100,000) and have consistently good service at the dealership. I bought my car from Victor, who knew his stuff and while persuasive (as any good salesman must be), was not overbearing or pushy. He got me into exactly what i wanted for a price i was happy with (and i feel the mazdas are great value for a relatively low cost) and was set up with great warranties and service coverage. As long as this dealership continues to operate the way they do now, i will keep going and buying there, and would recommend it to others. More

Love, love, love my MazdaSpeed! Just bought another MazdaSpeed - our 5th in 12 years. From the Protege, to the 6, to the 3, my husband and I love these cars. And the staff at Bank Street Mazda in Ottawa has always so helpful and friendly. This time, Zein and Kevin made a purchase under time constraint very pleasant and easy. Really can't say enough about the Mazda cars we've owned. They rarely break down. Always been very reliable. Drive great. And the MazdaSpeed has all the pluses of a luxury sports car at a very reasonable price. The only thing I wish they had was an all wheel drive model. Otherwise perfect. More

You get the sense that the process is kind of like a game in which the dealership has a competitive advantage. However, we are happy with the final outcome. Bank Street Mazda is the only place we have bought a new car in the last 25 years. The latest car is our 4th. We keep going back not so much because of the new car sales experience, but because we like the service experience. John Dustan and his staff are honest, trustworthy and try hard. Service and Sales need to tell the same story. On our last service one week before our Sales visit, service staff said we would get book value on trade-in of our old Mazda 3 (which was admittedly in poor shape - according to the service staff), but we had to push hard to get even two-thirds of the lower end of book value range from Zein Jolan (and through him, Sean Curley). Question: why are all the sales staff billed as 'managers'? Also, why does Zein Jolan's card call him 'Internet manager' when he shrugged off as someone else's responsibility the fact that some information on their website was outdated? More

Outstanding Service An email I sent to the president of Dilawri: I wanted to write you to let you know about the outstanding service we received from Kevin Yang and An email I sent to the president of Dilawri: I wanted to write you to let you know about the outstanding service we received from Kevin Yang and Shane Blondin at Bank Street Mazda. I don't email people often, especially in the car industry as I've had some less than stellar experiences; however your staff was so over the top amazing I had to take the time to write you. I've bought several cars, my last two have been from Bank Street Mazda, and Kevin and Shane have made me a Bank Street Mazda customer for life. My boyfriend and I travelled 2 hours from Petawawa (passing a Mazda dealership that is 20 minutes away from us), and while the whole experience started out rocky (with another sales consultant at Bank Street) Kevin and Shane went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of in the end. Shane was calm and cool and treated Ryan (my boyfriend) and I with respect and completely eliminated our frustration with the other consultant. He came into a difficult situation where Ryan was agitated and wanted to leave. Shane was quick, knowledgeable and extremely personable, he completely saved the sale. Shane is very intuitive, when we came back a week later for our car he noticed that Ryan and I were bored of waiting for our car, he sat with us and chatted for a few minutes. I realize this might not be procedure but it made us feel like we were the most important customers in that place. I don't have the best credit, Kevin worked so hard to ensure that I was able to get approval through another bank and made sure my payments were still manageable. At no time did he make me feel bad, embarrassed or uncomfortable with the fact that my credit has suffered over the last year. He treated me with the same respect that he would have treated someone who had perfect credit. I greatly appreciated that, as it's more common to be treated like some low life when you don't have perfect credit. Our hitch was backordered at Mazda, and rather than just saying "oh your hitch isn't on because it was backordered" they profusely apologized and recognized that we'd have to make another trip back to Ottawa. They both apologized probably 3 times each, even though it wasn't their fault and they had no control over it. I have no idea what kind of recognition system Dilawri uses for their employees but whatever it is, these two deserve to be recognized. It was by far the best customer service I've ever had a car dealership, and it was across the board an amazing experience. Thank you so much for employing such amazing employees. I look forward to our next Mazda, even if we're posted (Ryan is military) far away, I'd probably drive 8 hours just to work with your staff again. More

This gentleman also realized when to step back and give us our own time to talk privately. His professional attitude and friendly manner kept us there.
