(For a “Heads up” to the public!”) Well, I must say that buying a new car for most, is a feeling of being, “Stressful/Apprehensive/Vulnerable” to say the least. And when you buy a new car, you are somewhat happy…… But when you drive away in your new car, you can’t help feeling……well,…. that maybe, you could have negotiated better or that you left a pound of flesh behind at the dealership! (Ha!) OK, My Review: “Bank Street Hyundai” has given my wife and I, a truly…..Great ”Positive” Buying Experience EVER! (We are both 57 years old, and have bought 8 new cars in the past.) Our experiences were fair to good, ......But Never >>>*Excellent*! As we entered Bank Street Hyundai Dealership, we were warmly greeted and cared for! (Of course, you are a potential buyer, right?) But let me say that, we felt the Honesty and most important “Transparency!” in the three persons who helped us, with great guidance to buy our 1st 2016 Tucson 1.6T Limited. (The car we wanted and not the car they wanted to sell!!) I don’t know why, but we felt relaxed and calm. We were dealing with seasoned sales/financial staff. A kind, no worry, your choice, your ideas type of atmosphere! Bank Street Hyundai employees are; Dynamic, Helpful, Caring of your Needs! (I could go on.) Our phone calls where not answered, we where constantly prompted to voice mail! Very rude front desk staff. The worst part is that Service Manager is unreachable or willing to resolve or even answer phone calls. We had to drive with taxi to the service to get in touch with someone. Absolutely disaster! Overall Satisfying Experience I spent a fair amount of time checking many models of vehicles and many dealerships over the past 6 months. Once I had narrowed my vehicle choice to a I spent a fair amount of time checking many models of vehicles and many dealerships over the past 6 months. Once I had narrowed my vehicle choice to a Santa Fe I spent more time assessing the dealerships that were within a reasonable distance to my home. I enjoyed that I was greeted immediately but not followed throughout my time at the dealership able to roam and ask questions only when I wanted to. There was little to no pressure sales tactics and there were several times that I stopped the discussions and said that I needed to think it over and that was met without pressure to get the deal done right then and there. In fact it took 3-4 visits and a few phones calls before a deal was made. Mark and Justin did whatever they could to get me what I wanted with the trim level and accessories that meant most to me and at an agreeable price. I do believe that they worked for me to get me into the vehicle I wanted at I price I was happy with. Chris, in finance, also did a good job going over the standard options for extended warranty and rust packages available. Once again I did not feel pressure to purchase either and I felt that Chris was okay with whatever I decided. This was one of the better post vehicle purchase finance discussion that I have had. Normally I would feel like finance people were the vampires trying to suck the last dollar out of me but not in this case. Now to see how the service department will rate.... More

I also had the pleasure of dealing with Chris Haddad who took the time to explain the financial aspects involved with buying a car. From start to finish, I dealt with very nice employees. Ultimately, it came down to who I wanted to give my business too, as I could have easily got the same car for the same price elsewhere. I returned to buy the car from Dilawri even though it was further from my home because of the exceptional experience I had from the moment I walked into their doors.
