I needed to replace the rear wiper blade on my Elantra Touring, but the blade was not in stock when I took my car in for its oil change. Although Mike works on the sales floor, I think he went above and beyond his job when he took the time to deliver the blade to my house when it came in, and installed it for me as well! Saving me a trip back to the dealership. The service industry could use a few more people like Mike! A big thank you to Mike!

I came to Auto Value to have my car serviced, and decided to talk to the Finance girl named Melinda .This was a great experience. Melinda talked to me about my options and gave me some choices that fit with my life.At the end of my visit I decided to trade in my car and now own a 2013 Black Accent--I just love it and am very happy about my decision.Thanks to Melinda.!!!! She is a valuable asset to the company. Dean also was very helpful and made my experience most enjoyable. I went in this morning with a nail in my back tire. I own a Vera Cruz that is 4 yrs old and have been thinking out trading in for a new extended Santa Fe when they arrive. I ask Chris at service if he knew when they were coming in. He suggested I ask Joe. Joe told me they would be in sometime in Jan or Feb. We got to talking about the Vera Cruz and he mentioned they were selling them off first. He showed me the price which was lower than what I had paid in 2008. He got me thinking. While I was waiting to get my tire repaired Melinda came out of her office and noticed I was thinking big time and asked (my wife and I had dealt with her before when we bought my wife's Tucsan) what i was thinking. Told her I was now thinking of a new Vera Cruz. She asked me if I wanted to crunch some numbers. Amelio came in knowing I was a loyal customer, offered a great trade in deal and the deal was done. All 3 worked like a team and ended up with another sale. I have to say chris and the service team are also great. I have referred people to the dealership and will continue to do so. Great people to work with.

Excellent Service Experience !!!!! I can express enough how this Service Department has come since last spring. Chris has been the best. He always goes out of his way to make sure we and our 2 Hyundai's are looked after. A previous review by thviltvhil must be a misinformed individual. Chris goes the extra mile for us everytime we call. Doesnt matter....big or small...he goes out of his way for us!!! Our Hyundai's have been superb. We have purchased 3 from this dealer since 2009. Keep up the good work!!!!

We took our 08 Sante Fe in for a routine recall and ended up buying a 13 Santa Fe. When we entered the sales floor we were greeted by Ryan Billing and that is the end of the story, not quite. Ryan is a young man who excelled in all our expectations of a sales person. His knowledge and professionalism was second to none. He answered every question we had and if he did not know the answer he immediately looked it up and found it. We can only hope that Ryan is still there in four years. I am not from the area, but while on route to vacation in Niagara area (with my wife and 2yr old) I blew a tire on 403 just as I got off the 401. After calling EVERY Hyundai dealer and even visiting one in Brantford (never again – horrible service) I found someone with the tire in stock in Hamilton. They didn't have time to put it on (again, I wasn't impressed, not like I asked for a tranny job) but I bought it anyway cause finding the right tire was half the battle. I finally decided the heck with it I guess I was driving on the spare all week and I'd get it fixed locally when I got home – but I am not one to drive slow (as you’re supposed to on a spare). After looking up Niagara Hyundai and finding AutoValue, I called them. Chess answered the phone and I asked if he was booked up for the day. He said yes, but asked what I needed anyway. All I told him was I was on route to Niagara had a tire that was blown out and a new one to put on, just needed it done (I even offered to put it back on the car myself)... Chess said Oh I am pretty sure we can make time for you. I got there in about 45 minutes from where I was when I called, they took my car in within about 5 minutes of arriving. Within about 25 minutes we were back on the road to continue our journey. Chess knows customer service, I can't say enough good about this dealership and our experience there. Something so minor, but customer service is most important to me. You can be the best priced around but if your service sucks I will go elsewhere I don’t care at what cost. Pricing and customer service is NO issue at this place!! The willingness to fit me in (without even knowing I was on vacation) meant a lot. Thanks Chess for doing what you do!

"This past June the trailing arms failed on my Santa Fe..."

This past June the trailing arms failed on my Santa Fe while on the highway...took vehicle to Auto Value because there was a recall outstanding for the trailing arms and I had purchased my vehicle there new in 2002. They told me countless times they couldn't complete this work because my back brakes were so bad there was nothing to attach the arms to...and then quoted me $2,000 to do back and front brakes. My vehicle was not drivable so I towed it back home in order to save the money to have someone else do it for less money. I spent the entire summer without my vehicle. Then I came upon a licenced mechanic who told me the trailing arms had nothing to do with the brakes and to contact another Hyundai dealership - Performance Hyundai in St. Catharines. I did...towed vehicle there. They replaced trailing arms, no questions asked and also gave me a quote of $320 to fix brakes. I’m so disgusted that I would be lied to and taken advantage of and that I was treated this way by the dealership where I bought this vehicle. If they did this to me, who else are they taking advantage of?
