Let me start by saying how the staff were fairly friendly and accomodating considering I'm not the easiest client to work appointments with. They have decent hours and always got someone to at least look at the car when they had a moment.
But unfortunately that means little when I come in for incompetsnt service. Subaru is not cheap. I do 90% of my own maintenance but when there is an issue I've never come accross or can't tackle it is time to take the car in. Everytime I've taken my car in, the tech was happy to look at it and see what he could do. Each appointment costing $200 and up. $2000 or more later and they could not fix the issue at all. What's worse is they merely cut pieces off my car saying I didn't need them (later finding out one piece was a heat shield over the cat which failed my inspection in another province later). At 200k mileage I did the major service for $800 and found out later they did nothing. Looked everything over and said it was good when in fact, the timing belt was cracked AND cylinders 2/4 had virtually no spark plug left.
All in all, friendly service is great but all for not if there is no service performed. Just a lot of hot air. They also would not offer any refund for services rendered or pay to have the service performed at another Subaru dealer.
