Poor service experience Went to the Abbotsford VW dealership Wednesday to activate master cards re omission issue and was told by Mike i needed the car at the dealership. Boo Went to the Abbotsford VW dealership Wednesday to activate master cards re omission issue and was told by Mike i needed the car at the dealership. Booked an appointment 2 days later for an oil change and to activate the cards. Brought the car in on Friday and Mike said need my wife there to activate cards and added the nice little comment that i would be committing fraud by activating the cards because they were in my wife's name?!?!?!. Nice to be told by service geek that i would be committing fraud. Seems kind of ironic that the transaction was to activate cards used as shut up money for a VW fraud. I was so ticked off at Mike's comment i left without getting the oil change and went and got it done at another dealership. I did leave a message with receptionist to the dealer owner/manager to call me back so i could express my concerns but never got a call back. Here is a little advice for the dealership in future communication. Be very specific when telling people who needs to come in to activate cards, also telling customers they are committing fraud is not the greatest way to attract repeat business!! More

sales very good, service desk very poor. Tawrin Denoni was friendly and very helpful to us when we purchased our Passat. However the service desk is far from friendly, refusing to search out Tawrin Denoni was friendly and very helpful to us when we purchased our Passat. However the service desk is far from friendly, refusing to search out our warranty on a computer in another area. A unimpressed look when the customer does not have all the info he requests, just a lack of courtesy in general. More

Be Careful Who You Deal With in Service. I had my 2000 VW Jetta broken into, and I took it to the Abbotsford VW Dealer and first people I dealt with were great, but the person who I dealt wit I had my 2000 VW Jetta broken into, and I took it to the Abbotsford VW Dealer and first people I dealt with were great, but the person who I dealt with when I came back with the ICBC claim was unkind and I felt like he expected me to know what to do. I'm 18 and this was my first car and my first ICBC claim and he just wasn't very nice or helpful. The person who I dealt with when I picked the car up was good. But I got it back with a coolant leak, an overheating engine, and a 2 cylinder misfire (I can't really pin that on them but I find it a bit suspicious and you'd think they would find something like that). The work they did on my lock was very good, but the customer service was spotty. I would maybe recommend this service center, but because there was no maybe only yes or no, I would air on the side of no, or use your discretion, or if your young take a parent or someone older, so they treat you right. More
