Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. We do appreciate you taking the time to let us know about how you felt about the process, and we will take the time the learn from your comments and hopefully improve the process for the next time. This is important to us and we will be reviewing your comments with our sales staff. In terms of our staff making you feel it was more important to get you to sign the deal, rather than make sure you were comfortable, we apologize. We do get excited when someone is purchasing a vehicle, but we never want our customers to feel as though they are not valued. This is simply not acceptable to us and we will fix this. This is one of our strongest assets and what has made our dealership one of the top recommended VW dealerships. We are sorry if we missed that with and will do better next time. You also mentioned that you felt the "fibs" started with the sales manager mentioning we were planning on sending your unit to the US and that the sales sticker was an indication of the dishonesty. We "tag" all our trades, regardless if they are going to resold to the public or destined to be wholesaled. It keeps the lot somewhat organized and easier to find keys. You mentioned that our sales manager explained that she couldn't negotiate on extended warranties. This is correct. Our sales managers do not have the authority to negotiate extended warranties. The finance manager (this is person you met 20 minutes later and who drafted up your formal paperwork) has the training and ability to customize the extended warranties to fit your time and kms requirements and then work out a price and warranty that best suits you. In terms of your sales person not going through the vehicle with you properly, again we apologize. The delivery checklist is designed for the salesperson to thoroughly go through the vehicle with the customer and make sure nothing is missed and re-demonstrate some of the more complicated features. We will be speaking with our staff about this and making sure everyone understands the value and importance of doing a good job with this. Thanks again for taking the time to give us some good suggestions and thoughtful advice. We will use your review and make your next visit that much better.
