Stay away! I went in to buy a car with three young children (1, 4 and 6) and pregnant (due within the week). My husband put a $5000 down payment which was non I went in to buy a car with three young children (1, 4 and 6) and pregnant (due within the week). My husband put a $5000 down payment which was non refundable on a car and went home. Within a couple hours we realized that not all the car seats would fit in the car so we told the salesman Austin. We went into the dealership a following day and spoke to sales manager Abdullah who said he understood our situation. We were shown another vehicle but it didn’t work out. The sales manager Abdullah said to come after the holiday to get our money as the accountant wasn’t there to write a cheque. We didn’t go in as we had our baby. We called in multiple times but no one was getting back to us. Less than a week later we were told that we were only getting $2700 back and they were keeping $2300 for themselves. The sales manager Abdullah said that they took it first for holding the vehicle but they only held it for a couple hours so then he went on to say that they charged us for fixing the vehicle; the car had damage prior to sales. Abdullah said that they fixed the vehicle within those few hours before we notified Austin. The thing was that we saw the vehicle when we went in person the following day and it wasn’t fixed. The salesman manager Abdullah became VERY UNPROFESSIONAL when arguing with me after I literally had a baby the day before! At the end of the day the car dealership could take the money so they did. They saw an opportunity and took it. We gave them the money and within a couple hours we told them it wouldn’t work. They lied about giving the money back and later lied for the reason for keeping it. Abdullah had said for me to come in and talk in person about what the contract said so my husband went and he was off. Very poor business practices. After shopping around at other dealerships it was very clear that Nissan should be embarrassed to call this dealership by their name. Business is business but buyers are people and should be treated with honesty and respect. If we lied like them and said we weren’t satisfied we could of gotten our money back as per contract. I learnt to not trust salesmen. I have told many family, friends and coworkers to avoid this place and I hope you do too. More
