Overall a very good experience. The salesperson I worked with - Devin - was very good. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Others that I spoke to were very nice as well. Signing paperwork went well. The only area for improvement for me would have been email/on-line communication. Most emails were met with 'come in and we can talk about it'. Coming in to the dealership is not easy so more productive email would have been great. More

Came to Depaula Ford looking to order a van to upgrade from my aging pickup as my family was growing and seating for children became the priority. Was referred to Commercial Sales Manager Joshua Halse, from my aging pickup as my family was growing and seating for children became the priority. Was referred to Commercial Sales Manager Joshua Halse, as I was looking into a full size van. I originally placed a custom order for one but while waiting for it to be built noticed a similar van became in stock and took it for a test drive. I didn’t make it known that I was a first time new automobile buyer as I’d watched all the youtube videos that gave all the car buying advice that told you to be on guard for being taken advantage of. The reality is that it couldn’t have been farther from the truth at this place. Joshua went through the entire process with me, explained all the pricing without ever a mention on any of the nonsensical fees that folks warned about. For both vehicles I researched, pricing was upfront, at or below MSRP (what the market is now) with NO MENTION of any mark up above MSRP, in fact my final purchase, with rebates, was below MSRP and the trade in value agreed for my truck was the objective kelly blue book value that we both entered into the conversation complete in agreement on, consistent with the objective kbb rated condition of my truck. Likewise, there were no nonsensical or extra fees for anything. Whenever I had questions, and I had multiple, the email would be answered within the hour, often half hour, INCLUDING early morning of the purchase when I sent an email at 330am with a paperwork question (not expecting an answer until business hours the next morning) and received the info I needed by 415am. The man is a committed professional who made it clear with his actions and professionalism that he was there to sell what you needed and wasn’t wasting his or your time in games that some dealers play. Ms. Tracy in finance was also the best, went out of her way to find every finance option she could for you, whether you went with your own financing or through theirs and there was zero hard sell to purchase any extra plans or protections that you weren’t interested in. She, like Joshua, was very straightforward and just did her job to get you what you wanted and needed at the best price and rate she could find. As a first time NEW car buyer who researched the process for years and came into it on my guard, I couldn’t have been more impressed by how open, transparent and straightforward the car buying process is here. They have earned a customer and I highly recommend them. More

Absolute worst experience. Should have acted upon the red flags earlier. Finance person Tracey took my ss# from a private application I did with chase used it to run my credit Should have acted upon the red flags earlier. Finance person Tracey took my ss# from a private application I did with chase used it to run my credit with another bank including a duplicate application with my own bank. I NEVER once gave her my ss#. She masked the new application as the one I did at home and defrauded me with a higher interest rate. Claimed it was because of an error I made (which wasn’t true). Called chase bank and had them pull the application they did. Right now dealing with filing a complaint with BBB and department of consumer affairs. Also, currently speaking with my attorney on what actions I can take a damages I can seek against the dealership. Called them immediately after I saw they ran my credit. I tried to have them make everything right, but Tracey refused. Even after having chase bank on a 3 way call, she admitted while being recorded by chase and myself that she took my social security number and ran my credit w/o permission or authority to do so. When chase bank said she ran a completely new application, she immediately hung up and disconnected the call. Good thing chase bank has great customer service and is making everything right. Don’t do business with these guys. You will regret it as I am right now. Also, told me that there were 2 keys and after getting the car told me “I’m sorry, there’s only 1.” John was nice but all of them are co conspirators in the schemes they pull. Just to get a commission off of running a credit app, they were all willing to commit fraud. Sales manager is the absolute worst and definitely pressures them all to do shady and illegal things. Stay clear, you’ve been warned. More
