Service and Sales - Awesome! I wanted to take this opportunity to commend the Sales and Service Departments at Herb Chambers of Seekonk, Massachusetts. I recently had my vehicle I wanted to take this opportunity to commend the Sales and Service Departments at Herb Chambers of Seekonk, Massachusetts. I recently had my vehicle serviced [routine maintenance] and was afforded prompt, friendly, and efficient service. My 2013 Honda Civic is the third vehicle that I have leased from this dealership. Mike Rebola is an attentive and knowledgeable salesperson; always checking in to see if he can be of any help. The staff at the front service desk, especially Tim Islip and Malainne Costa (who helped me the last time I was in for service) are equally as pleasant and willing to assist their clients in any way. If you want to buy a Honda, this is the place. I bought a CPO 2006 Civic from Herb Chambers in 2008. Overall, the process was straightforward with a few minor hiccups. They told me that they ha I bought a CPO 2006 Civic from Herb Chambers in 2008. Overall, the process was straightforward with a few minor hiccups. They told me that they have "no haggle pricing" and couldn't negotiate at all. I wanted to think about it and test drive some other cars. Then they called me two days later, and offered me a price that was $1k cheaper. They told me that it had been sitting on the lot, and the general manager wanted to clear out some cars. There was also a little confusion over the warranty. They told me that it included a 5-year warranty, but then later (after I paid the deposit) told me that it was only the balance of 5 years. In order to make up for it, they offered me a lower rate on the loan. Overall, I got a great price on the car. It ran like a champ to 120K mi, when I traded it in. Service is OUTSTANDING. A little expensive, but reasonable considering it's the dealer. They are honest about not recommending too much service. Also, the waiting area is comfortable with a big TV, WiFi, popcorn, pastries, coffee, soda. And they always wash my car when I bring it in for service! My neighbor bought a Ford from a different dealer, and now he brings it to Herb Chambers for service. They do great work. More

The car I wanted...the experience that delighted! I went in with my 2013 Honda Odyssey (my second) for service. I was working with Tim and Malainne. AWESOME customer service skills. I had a simple repair to make and they even brought me back to meet with Dennis (Awesome Honda Technician) and see the van on the lift. I had been wanting a 4x4 for many years...but with new babies I always stayed with mini vans for their ease of use. Since the babies are now kids, I figured I'd "kick the tires" of a Pilot (what I've really wanted) for the heck of it! First, I shot the breeze with the GM (Scott Birtles) and he was extremely low pressure and fun to talk with...it was clear that his primary interests are to provide a great customer experience and to build long lasting relationships. Then, I was checking out a 2013 Pilot and was fortunate enough to call upon Homero Lina to ask for a test drive. Homero was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely sincere. NO PRESSURE whatsoever. A complete joy to work with! Well, we know how this story ends up...I loved the Pilot and within a few hours I was the proud owner of a 2013 Honda Pilot from Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk! Me met John Mitchell right as we got there, and he was great. We were looking for a no pressure, knowledgeable sales rep, and we found it in John. We ended up buying another CRV and love it. Emelio Navarro took us through the financial portion of the sale with no high pressure and great expertise. Lauren Suroweic took us through the features on the car and how they worked, and we have always had a wonderful rapport with Tim Islip in the Service area for the last 16 years. Herb Chambers hires great people, and it shows when you go into the dealership. It couldn't have been a better experience, and we are in love with the car. More
