Effortless process I have had VW;s since the 70's .. Manny Lucas made this a seamless process from start to finish. He sold me my Passat 4 years ago so I felt at ease bu I have had VW;s since the 70's .. Manny Lucas made this a seamless process from start to finish. He sold me my Passat 4 years ago so I felt at ease buying my new Jetta from him this time. I've been dealing with Platinum VW for several years and so far have had no complaints. More

Disappointing I brought my vehicle to Platinum and paid $150 for a visual inspection before purchasing privately. I asked to please check the suspension closely as I brought my vehicle to Platinum and paid $150 for a visual inspection before purchasing privately. I asked to please check the suspension closely as the vehicle would be coming to Maryland where the state inspection is very detailed. They missed torn lower control arm bushings, a leaking left rear shock and a broken right rear coil spring. On top of sending me off with safety concerns on a 200 mile trip, they were very rude upon write up and when I called to bring what was missed to their attention. I service my Vws with Vw of Rockville in Maryland and previously at Vw of Huntington when I lived in New York. I have never been treated quite in this manner. When I requested a refund for the inspection since the items had not been checked, they refused and hid behind Vw corporate. I have had nine Vw's, everyone in my family has one as well as friends. I am sorely disappointed in this dealership and advise if you want friendly, honest service to please go elsewhere. More
