I'm happy with the service although disappointed that two of the minor things I asked to be done were not done. One was replacing my wiper blades and the other was resetting my clock in my car. Honestly, as soon as I walked in, it was a chaotic environment with what looked like an impromptu staff meeting in the middle of the entryway, and when I asked what was happening, I was told there was environment with what looked like an impromptu staff meeting in the middle of the entryway, and when I asked what was happening, I was told there was a staff shortage in the service department, and from that point on, what is usually top-notch and excellent service, seemed to unravel. Given their circumstances, I decided to be patient and work while waiting. I was told it would take 2 hours for my car's usual 1 hour lube and oil service. But after I realized I had been in the waiting area and working for almost 3 hours, with no status from anyone, having watched service techs pour out of the service bay to get lunch at a taco truck, and a few people who came in after me have their cars done before me, I tried to find my service rep, but she was out to lunch. I never saw or heard from her again. Another rep checked for me, and a service tech was working on my car and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes, and I was fine with it being done a half hour later. But then, when I went to pay and asked how the tires looked to them, I was told I needed new tires immediately (they were originals from my 2019 purchase) and that it was "dangerous" for me to drive any distance with them. Even at 38,000 miles, I knew I needed new tires soon, but I was surprised he used the words "dangerous" and "immediately." Even though I said I absolutely had no more time that day (and I didn't), he kept pressuring me to buy tires that day, hurriedly writing and showing, not giving me an estimate for a discount I could get for who knows what tires, trying to talk me into it. I prefer to conduct my own research before I buy tires, so at that point, I was getting irritated and repeated that I had no time for it that day. I paid and left. I double-checked the tires, and they were worn but not looking "dangerous" to me. I found out the following week at two other tire stores that while I needed new tires, they weren't yet in the usual "dangerous" zone. And now, my car is running rougher than when I drove it in for service. I doubt I will return to this service dept. again. More
