A friend told me to visit Marquess Smith Sr. to purchase a vehicle. You would think if someone gave you a reference to purchase a car; they would have some decency with being an "Extraordinary G to purchase a vehicle. "Nothing Wrong" Our master mechanic says he can't find anything. Then he said he took it to Lexus and they also found nothing! Another lie! When I took it to Northside Lexus, the front right passenger side tire was "RED" I basically needed 4 new tires, a wheel alignment, and front and rear brake pads, shims and rotors! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY ARE DISHONEST LIARS! Even calling the so called District Manager! MONTHS OF ATTEMPTING TO HAVE THEM RECTIFY THE SITUATION! THEY HAVE DONE NNNNNOOOTTTHHHIINNNGGG!!!! One one review they even act as if they were open to making it right! I asked them if this is what they would sell to their mothers and sisters!? I guess I got the friends and family deal from the Extraordinary D(*&%BAG! More

My experience here was completely horrible. William my sales guy tried to scam me out of my tax saving for a trade in because he said he wouldn’t get paid off the car I was trading in. He wanted me to complete the deal first then sale him my car because he would get 300 for it. But it would cost me 1800 in the process. He actually thought I was stupid. Also they don’t show you the carfax or any numbers unless you demand it. First off they sold me a car with no AC. Then bugs started coming out of every which way in the car. They said they did a 128 pt check but how do you miss something as big as the AC not blowing cold air. I called and they they fixed it but I was without a car for 2 full days. William the sales guy called to tell me the AC was working fine when they sold it to me I said if that was so why did they fix it? Sean the sales manager and the financial guy in the front are absolute xxxxxxxx and they feed off each other’s ignorance. I asked to speak with the General manager and Sean the sales director said there was no one above him to speak with. I had to go and get the original car that I traded in because I had no trust in the reliability of the car they sold me. When I did that, they tried to make me feel like a complete fool. Needless to say stay clear of this dealership, there isn’t anything but crooks working here! Also they don’t honor their internet coupons!!!!! More

Horrible customer service If I could select zero stars I would. Who does that? We contacted Mr. Castillo, the general manager, and Shawn, the preowned manager who was supposedly working on our paperwork, and they have just chosen to ignore us and not give us any type of explanation. I guess Baker prefers to do business with just local customers and if this is the case they need to stop advertising on the internet and on TrueCar. More

Horrible Buying Experience - Core values missing! Baker Nissan sold me a 2019 BMW X5 with major unseen damage. I was in California when I originally inquired about the X5; the sales team told me it wa Baker Nissan sold me a 2019 BMW X5 with major unseen damage. I was in California when I originally inquired about the X5; the sales team told me it was the owners wife’s car with low miles (6630 miles) and was in perfect condition, a beautiful example of a BMW. I was trading in my vehicle, so I was driving from California to Houston Texas (1479 miles) to complete the purchase of the vehicle. On March 24, I was about two hours out from Houston, I was called by the dealership Cody Endlich and was told because Covid-19 pandemic, if I wasn’t there within the next few hours, I would be unable to complete the purchase and would have to return to California. Upon my arrival at the dealership I was told by the Cody that the vehicle was in detailing and would be done shortly. Once they brought the vehicle out, I noticed several areas that were not addressed by detailing and the vehicle needed to go back to correct the issues. This happened two times and on the third time the vehicle appeared to be in acceptable condition. We completed the transaction and I started my trip back to California. After arriving back at home I took the vehicle to a local professional detail shop to have the BMW clean waxed and overall detailed so that it was in perfect addition. Once at the detail shop I was called and was told that there was an issue with the car and needed to come back to the shop to discuss. The Owner of the detail shop told me that the vehicle had a fine film of paint overspray on the entire vehicle including on the inside of the doors and the leather and was going to take a great deal of time and effort to have it removed. Hard to see, but was easy to identify as he was a professional. The owner of the detail shop further stated that there was no possible way that the Baker Nissan dealership didn’t have full awareness of the issue with the car, but failed to disclose it at any time. I immediately called Baker Nissan and left a message for the general manager Luis Castillo and told him of the issue and asked for him to call me immediately. It wasn’t until the following day that he reached out to me and left a message on my phone. I called him back immediately to discuss the issues with him. I also provided him the detail shop owners phone number and the owner would be more than happy to discuss the issues he found with him. From that point forward no contact with me or the detail shop was ever attempted by the general manager or any other staff member regarding the issue of the paint overspray on the vehicle. That issue ended up costing me over $3000 to have corrected which to say the least was extremely upsetting since I was told that the car was in perfect condition. And to note the dealership not once reached out to me to discuss or with any offer or accommodation for my inconvenience during this ordeal. Baker Nissan Mission statement: We ensure every aspect of our business both internally and with our customers, reflect our core values of honesty, integrity, ethics and professionalism. Absolutely FALSE! Extremely disappointed on how this whole ordeal was handled personally and professionally by them. I would’ve expected much more from a so called Award winning establishment. There are three other issues that I had with the vehicle that I won’t go into great detail about, but I will mention here. First, when I was negotiating the deal for the BMW X5, they said they would match any trade-in offer received by another reputable dealership and they would match it. When it came down to the bottom line they said they were unable to do so and they reduced my trade-in value by $2000 .Secondly, when I purchased the vehicle they did not have the second key. I was told they would get it from the owner and send it out to me via FedEx the next day. It wasn’t until April 16th after several calls and emails to the dealership before that issue finally got resolved. They sent a check to me to cover the price of the replacement key. A Thanks to Effran Bryant for his help in getting this done, A few days after the purchase, the vehicles “check engine light” came on the and the vehicle spent a week at the BMW dealership getting that problem corrected. So much for the BMW being in perfect condition! More

I had the absolutely wonderful car buying experience with Baker Jackson Nissan. I worked with Rickey that day because Terry was already with a customer but they worked together as a team to help me select th Baker Jackson Nissan. Our experience with Rickey felt like we were purchasing a car from a family friend. Rickey was very pleasant, not aggressive or annoying at all, he made the process so relaxing for me and played with my son as well. Shawn Kennedy (the money man) gave me the best deal ever! Thanks again, Shawn, you are the man!!! You guys are a great team and I could not have dreamed up a better experience at Baker Jackson Nissan. I will be referring all of my friends and family here. Don’t walk, run, to this dealership!!! More

The rapport was excellent and we actually enjoyed our evening as we came to an agreement to purchase a vehicle. The agreement included a written statement that Baker Nissan would fix any major issues after the vehicle was reviewed by the mechanic. Our mechanic looked at it on Sunday and found codes the brake booster had produced fault codes and the ABS light on the dash came on while we had it. We provided these codes and pictures to Baker Nissan when we brought it back to them on Monday. We were told the battery needed to be replaced and Baker did that and said that may or may not fix the problem. We understood that was a first step in the trouble shooting and were prepared to take a written statement they would stand behind their agreement. Instead of offering to stand behind their deal, they said they had 3 more buyers for the car and if we did not want the car they would take it back. Needless to say the reputation of a used car sales man was truly represented as we made the mistake of trusting a large dealership like Baker to stand up and be reputable but we were completely let down. Do not trust these people .... get all of your vehicles completely inspected by a trusted source before you provide them your money..... It was truly an experience that went from great to piss poor once they had our money!!!! More
