Foundation Chevrolet Cadillac tries to make every customer Completely Satisfied before and after they leave our showroom. And although challenges sometime arise after the sale, we always try to work with the customer to make them right. We usually do not respond to customers' problems or complaints in an open forum but in this case, we deem it necessary due to the gross mis reputation of what happened. There was a problem reported to the dealership a month after the sale with customers vehicle. At this time, we tried to work with the customer. While trying to work on a resolution to the problem the customer became very hostile to multiple employees using threatening and abusive language. I the General Manager called the customer to rectify the situation and experienced the same. We are still open to helping the customer if the situation can be handled in a respectful and not threatening manner by the customer. Chad Raskin General Manager

General Manager Chad Raskin has responded to this review with defensive response and slanderous false statement. I will amend Mr. Raskin's gross misrepresentation, since he clearly is a man who lacks integrity. Vehicle purchased on 8/15/23 Contacted service to report hood defect on 8/19/23 & 8/21/23 (not over a month later, as has been falsely stated) No return calls. Service appt scheduled on 9/1/23 at 2:24 pm for 9/8/23 at 8 am Service appt delayed until 9:30 am only to find out Service Mgr Dave is not there as promised. Service takes pictures of the hood and tells us that Service Mgr Dave will contact us on Monday, 9/11/23. No phone call. We call Service Mgr Dave on Monday afternoon, and he says he will call us back on Tuesday, 9/12/23. Service Mgr Dave finally contact us 9/12/23 to discuss ordering a new hood and states that it will take 2 months, it will have to be painted in a shop, and that he still needs to review security footage to see if the dealership caused the "damage" to the hood (which is clearly a manufacturer defect). We wait 3 more days with no contact from Service Mgr Dave. I finally contact GM Warranty hotline and open a case with them SR:9-10668153079 due to the run-around from Foundation Service Service Mgr Dave finally calls me on 9/15/23 after repeated failed attempts to get a hold of him. I have a long cordial conversation with Service Mgr Dave, who clearly informs me that there is no way to match the paint color/tint or thickness if we order a new hood and have the shop paint it. He also agrees with me that it would be trading one defect for another. He notifies me of no ability to resolve the warranty defect and directs me to speak with our salesman Alex to explore the option of replacing the vehicle as it is a lemon. Shame on Mr. Raskin for downright lying about the elapsed time and attempting to save face by making a defamatory statement in public. The entire reason for my angry reaction to his Sales Mgr Tyler Brown was because Mr. Brown accused us of not reporting the defect for a month, which is patently false, and he outright told me that he would not replace the vehicle for that reason alone, essentially stating that I had no warranty claim. He then lied and said that loss of value does not constitute a Lemon Law claim. We are currently working with the GM Warranty Dept through the mediated BBB Lemon Law process. This dealership and management staff is worthless.
