I'll keep this short. Wynn VW has a car shown on their site that's not available. When contacting them by text I was told it was available and asked to come in at 6:30 by Erin S. and an internet sales rep site that's not available. When contacting them by text I was told it was available and asked to come in at 6:30 by Erin S. and an internet sales rep. would meet us. Upon arrival we found no car or anyone named Erin and then told an internet service not connected to this dealer gave that information. Wynn VW is NOT the place to consider shopping for a new car. More

My 2022 Tiquan is my 4th leased vehicle from Wynn. The General Manager Rob is a true professional. He makes getting a new car very easy. Horrible experience. Called a month before a lease termination date looking for an Atlas. Worked with salesmen who urged me to put down a $1,000 deposit to secure a vehicle we wanted (specs, color com termination date looking for an Atlas. Worked with salesmen who urged me to put down a $1,000 deposit to secure a vehicle we wanted (specs, color combo etc...). Provided the deposit 3.5 weeks before month end with the promise of knowing if they could secure a car within a week. I was told a few days later a car was "secured", just waiting on ETA information. I checked back in every few days to see where things stood and as a gentle reminder of my timing (I have three kids, all under age 5, and we were losing our only family car). Responses to my messages were sometimes nonexistent or a few days delayed, at best, and when I did hear back I heard "secured your car", "is at port", "on train headed our way", "will be here the week of the 21st." Once I was assured it was coming, I made arrangements with my current car dealer to sell my car out of my lease to realize some equity value, which needed to be done by month end. After ignoring multiple messages, salesman calls me four days before the end of the month and says "oh darn, bad news -- the car was sold by another dealer." WHATTT?? It was never mentioned that this was a possibility. In fact, no one ever told me it had to go through another dealer first. "Murphy's Law" -- he says. Not so much as an apology until prompted. This left my family with no car in three days. So what to do? Escalated to the GM, who basically said "sorry, my hands are tied. I can offer you another car in 30 days, but oh btw, I can't give you the same financing incentive or cover any costs incurred in finding new car or passing on sale offer from current dealer." Unhelpful. GM offered to help me find a replacement car 2+ HOURS AWAY. Also not helpful. To say I was misled is an understatement. Dealership offered no creative solutions to get this remedied, and instead left a family of five -- with three small children -- with ZERO options other than spending MORE money and driving MULTIPLE hours to MAYBE find a suitable replacement vehicle. What is the point of a deposit if this can happen? And if this can happen, why wasn't this possibility previewed so I could make an informed decision? If I had looked elsewhere, I lose my deposit...what a crock. Very disappointing experience, to say the least. Proceed with caution here, and absolutely never put down a deposit unless the car is on the lot. Have never encountered anything more unprofessional than what transpired the last few days. More
