It started when I signed up with TrueCar and this dealership was one of three that This us been the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. It started when I signed up with TrueCar and this dealership was one of three that I was referred to. This was the first dealership to contact me via phone and email. The message that Manny Ghosh left me was not pressure-filled but easy going where I felt compelled to call him right away. I advised him that I was looking at several vehicles for my family and I was interested in checking out the Outback. He scheduled me to come in when I had time available and to ask for him or his manager. When I arrived for my test drive, I was greeted by John who attempted to locate Manny and his manager. He found them and I was told that John would take care of me point forward. John did exactly that. I completed the test drive including driving the car on a private test track. John knew about the car but especially the little things like letting me know that the automatic braking does not work unless there are objects or cars in front or behind. It was a very comfortable and easy conversation the whole time with John. Tony and John did check with me after the test drive to see if I had made a decision on buying the car with them but I told them that I still had other vehicles to test drive. They respected that and only asked that I keep them in mind if I do decide to get an Outback. After test driving other vehicles, I was sure the Outback was for me. The decision came down to 2 dealerships and John was constantly providing me information via email, phone and text. His dealership consistently provided me with a lower quote than the competing dealership and at the end I chose to buy from Gerald because of their pricing and limited lifetime powertrain warranty. When I did, John made the purchase and paperwork painless. They even took my old car as a trade-in, even though it has seen much better days and was still very messy. When I spoke with Asim in the finance department, he was able to get me a lower rate than what my bank had already pre-approved me for. During the presentation of additional warranties, there was no pressure or harassment on having buy any of that. In the end, I was treated as an informed consumer who has a multitude of options and could purchase a new car anywhere. I drove 40 minutes away from my home to purchase the vehicle and I do not regret it all. I look forward to continued business with them in the future. Cynthia gave us a decent quote, so we decided to purchase our new Forester from Gerald Subaru (we live We quoted online and was contacted by Cynthia. Cynthia gave us a decent quote, so we decided to purchase our new Forester from Gerald Subaru (we live 4 hours away). However, we tried to pick up the car in the following weekend, but Cynthia was off on Friday (we quoted on late Thursday). So we were transferred to Manny. Manny helped us find a right car efficiently, provided us with a great quote, and reserved an in transit car for us. It was a good experience working with Manny for his great service and prompt response. He was always patient and tried to solve my questions and requests asap. The day before we picked up the new car, Manny referred us to Jesse. Jesse contacted us right away. On the day of picking up our new car, he helped us on dropping our rental car and brought us back to office. Jesse is friendly and easy to work with. He explained all paper works and optional packages to us. He answered our questions patiently but didn't put pressure on us to buy the optional packages. He knows the car pretty well even though he didn't work at Gerald Subaru for a long time. He showed us many functions of our car. We have eyesight system. It would take us a long time to figure it out without the help of Jesse. I think Jesse is a great salesperson. We really appreciate Jesse and Manny, and would like to work with them again if we are buying another Subaru in the future. More
