I recently purchased a brand new truck valued at $90,000, expecting the usual joy and excitement of acquiring a new vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience at Robert Brogden's turned out to be the worst car buying experience of my life. Initial Impressions: Upon taking delivery, I immediately noticed subpar detailing and multiple scratches on the interior. The sales team (including the sales manager), initially accommodating, assured me these issues would be rectified - I just needed to bring the truck back and they would take care of these defects that clearly should not be in a new truck. Follow-up Disappointment: Despite a confirmed appointment and prior communication ensuring me that these problems would be taken care of (including sending pictures of the damages), the results were far from satisfactory. Only minor and cheap parts were replaced, and the attempts to fix scratches on leather-like panels with inappropriate chemicals irreparably damaged its appearance and texture. Lack of Accountability: Expressing my concerns over these unacceptable repairs on a high-value vehicle, I was met with indifference and even rudeness. The sales manager suggested they couldn't meet my expectations indicating that I was the problem. My request to speak with the general manager was turned down - I was actually told "No - you can not speak with the general manager - you are dealing with me" - leaving me no choice but mentioning legal advice. This led to the sales manager be even more rude - and he just walked away. Concluding Thoughts: This ordeal has tainted every moment I spend in my new truck. Instead of joy, I'm reminded of the frustration and disappointment. I don't believe it is an unusual expectation to get a new vehicle that does not have scratches on the interior - and that's all I asked for. I strongly advise against using Robert Brogden's for your vehicle purchase. Find a dealership that values customer satisfaction and delivers on their promises. More
