Dispite the weather my in laws my wife and I decided to visit the VW South Charlotte to check their inventory for a certified vehicle. What can I say, I couldn’t expect less, again what a great and pleasant experience when you go to dealer where they make you feel welcome and valued. After checking few cars, we took our coffee break while they were working on getting things ready. My in laws were impressed and happy with their new car. Our second time leasing a car with Volkswagen of South Cha So here we are again with Volkswagen of South Charlotte turning in our 2016 Passat and leasing the new 2018 model. The reason why we are doing this is So here we are again with Volkswagen of South Charlotte turning in our 2016 Passat and leasing the new 2018 model. The reason why we are doing this is simply due to the fact we obviously like the cars and selection of models but more important, the relationship with the dealership. Spiros Dedis is a seasoned sales executive that knows his product well. He has looked out for our best interest each time and made sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable regarding each of the features of the cars we have leased. Al in service is spot on with following up on scheduled maintenance and Drew in finance is quite the gentleman to work with. The owner, Mark Cohen, makes sure that we continue to be happy and has been available for any support ( which we have not needed). My wife and I highly recommend them and have sent some of our friends there as well to visit with Spiros for their vehicle requirements. Patrick works closely to ensure that everyone feels they got their “Deal” and leaves with a big smile. By the way- bagels, coffee, and two lounges even with desk areas, to relax during any visit. More

Car damaged during warranty repair. I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty. Then I happened to look at my car when I was there to pick it up and noticed some damage to my front wheels. I was understanding about it and told them that it had to happen in their service depo. Sadly like most dealerships they will weasel out of any thing they mess up. Although they did offer a fix by a local wheel shop which was a decent offer I declined and the reason for that is, that the wheels arrived on the car as new condition when it went into service. I dont want to be stuck with someone else's mess later down the road because someones patch job on my wheels. I was expecting good work and not have to worry about my car being damaged but boy was I wrong. Also they blamed my EPC light and CEL on the intake (Like usual). So they had me drive back home with both the EPC and CEL lit on the dash. Also I'm sure someone will respond to this to make it seem they are being nice. But thats not the case at all, Their favorite line is usually "I'm sorry you feel that way" which is condescending anyway. Last time I ever go here and WARN OTHERS. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR DAMAGED!! More

Issues resolved to my satisfaction All issues were resolved. The team went out of their way to make things right. Mark Cohen is an excellent manager. I worked with Ryan O'Sheilds online and through text to get a deal set up due to the distance to the dealership. I was very clear that I was looking for a clean vehicle, and explained in detail about experiences at other dealerships that I did not want to happen again. Although really wouldn't budge on their internet price, we came to an agreement. I stressed my requirements of the car being clean, paint being in top condition. I was very clear that needed to know about any and all flaws before I made the drive, because it is a long drive and I would have a baby with me, and hoped to have paperwork and everything prepared as much as possible before I arrived. I was assured it was flawless, that everything would be ready. Upon arrival, the vehicle was not up to the expectation set by my conversations with the salesman. The rear bumper was not attached properly, visibly loose and not aligned. The paint was swirled badly and had many scuffs and scratches, all of which could be easily repaired with a simple buff and polish. Two of the tires had moderate sidewall damage. The driver's door handle was missing a plastic cover; the metal lock cylinder was exposed. The interior was barely clean; the tan leather seats were mildly dirty and wiped in the main visible areas only, any deeper investigation revealed dirt and grime. The driver’s seat had a poorly done tear repair that did not match the color, looking like a light coffee stain in about a 6" square area. I requested that these things be taken care of before purchase. They were only willing to attach the bumper properly and order the cover for the door handle. Moe Borno was the sales manager throughout the process. He was somewhat passive aggressive and combative, as well as slightly condescending. There was a distinct feeling that my requests were ridiculous and that I was just trying to drive the price down. I was told multiple times that they could not go any lower or spend any money fixing the vehicle, even though I never once requested a price adjustment, simply asked that the expectation set during my communications with the salesman be upheld. In the end I purchased the vehicle because I like it, not because it was a good deal; I will still have to invest to have the paint mechanically corrected, the leather seat repaired and interior cleaned, and purchase two tires. The process took 4 hours, plus 3 hours of drive time. The dealership is very nice, Coffee, water and bagels are available. The parking area was not large enough for the volume of customers there. I was given my choice of nice VW keychains upon completing the paperwork. More

I wasn't very happy during my first visit due to certain reasons, however the sales manager Moe and The owner Mark actually reached out to me and helped me out.
