Southern Auto Group has pros and cons going for it like any other dealer. Pro: they have the largest selection of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Alphas in the south norfolk area. They have the most amount of deale any other dealer. Pro: they have the largest selection of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Alphas in the south norfolk area. They have the most amount of dealer locations available as well and the sales agents are all pretty nice. The Cons: are that they sometimes practice shady sales tactics instead of being upfront like most businesses their in the business to make a profit and they will use you to make their profit if you're an uneducated buyer. Which is dangerous especially in this area with such a large military presence alot of young people new to the military will get seated in an expensive over priced car that they can't afford. I've purchased 2 jeeps from this dealer ship my most recent purchase a new 22 Jeep Renegade they tried to sell me for somewhere around 37 thousand dollar I almost went through with the purchase when I saw that on their own dealer website they were offering the car for 26 thousand dollars. A whole 10 thousand dollars cheaper then was I was about to drive it off the lot for so I confronted the sales manager and got the car for the new advertised priced on the website. They claimed they were unaware of the price drop and apologized but regardless its embarrassing. Either you were being shady and you were trying to sell me an over priced vehicle to earn more commission or your ignorant of you vehicle inventory and pricing which is also bad on your part as a sales manager. All in all it's a dealership like most other. They're looking out for themselves and you have to do the same. But the selection of cars is nice and the southern guarantee is also a nice feature when buying a car with them. More

We bought a Jeep Wednesday, June 27th. There was a recall on the vehicle, both my husband and I questioned it, and were told by several people, do not worry, its just a safety video. We t There was a recall on the vehicle, both my husband and I questioned it, and were told by several people, do not worry, its just a safety video. We trusted them and left with the Jeep. Thursday, David called me and said that he would come and get the jeep and have the recall fixed. He then came back to my office and and said that it could be a day, week, he was not sure. So much for the safety video. He said he had another Jeep, I asked about the price and he said he would make it work. The payment went up another $100, I believe it was, so much for working on the price. When we took delivery, there was only one key and no book. We received the book on Friday, but we are still waiting for our second key fob. I was there Friday, June 30th, for a code reading. I inquired about the key fob and David said they would find it or order another one for us. Today I left a voice mail message, but have not heard back. We need the other key and my husband and I feel that a brand new vehicle should have two key fobs. We do not understand why we did not receive better answers on Thursday or Friday. Today is Wednesday, and still nothing. Poor service, especially for this vehicle, which was expensive! More
