3-23-24: We purchased a used car. We were told by business mgr..the ext. warranty would be $17 a month.. when we printed our paperwork at home, cost was $4,000! Totally Mislead!! He said it was $100 deductible. Printed paperwork said $200 deductible!! Totally Mislead!! WILL NOT GO BACK TO SUBURBAN!! More

I am a repeat buyer from Lou Stoll, and Suburban Ford. Lou is really great. He’s super helpful and will work hard to make sure it’s a successful purchase. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Lou’s honesty and integrity, and would happily buy another car from him next time. This dealer’s cars are priced very fairly and they do a lot of business. No, they do not ever hold cars. Don’t even bother asking. If you see one you like and it’s priced well, you need to get yourself down there. I appreciate the fair pricing. They can be a little difficult about things that don’t really matter in the end, like fussing about what kind of check or payment method you use, but Lou will help you out. It can also be a bit time consuming to finalize everything, but that’s pretty normal. All in all, I will definitely be back to work with Louie again. More

This wasn't the friendliest experience. I was treated poorly and the communication was terrible. I let it be known that I was in a situation and needed to be in a vehicle by days end at 11a I was treated poorly and the communication was terrible. I let it be known that I was in a situation and needed to be in a vehicle by days end at 11am. The car wouldn't start. There was no follow up. Then I had to contact him before the end of the day at 5p (they close at 6p) and still wasn't given a good update on what needed to be done. I was like extracting teeth to get an update. This was a terrible experience and I was depending on Lou. I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted, now I just want to shop somewhere where I'll get better treatment. More

Lou was very easy to work with and very efficient. Louie at Suburban Ford of Waterford was a Rockstar! I found my "dream car" online and made one phone call and eventually drove it home yesterday. The rest of the Team from Liam, to Nick to Tina and so ma found my "dream car" online and made one phone call and eventually drove it home yesterday. The rest of the Team from Liam, to Nick to Tina and so many others made my experience and pain free. I even took my 9 year old daughter to their impeccable showroom. It was a great experience for her as well as for me. Suburban Ford of Waterford will be my car buying home for some time to come. More

I and my brother visited the dealership recently and I can say without a doubt that it's was the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. We got into the big new building of theirs. We were greet can say without a doubt that it's was the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. We got into the big new building of theirs. We were greeted by a salesperson. We have already seen listing of the cars so we informed him of the model we were interested in. At first the salesperson hesitated and said the car was sold. And then a minute later he said the car needs a safety inspection and we can't test drive it today. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I then informed him of our next car choice to look at. He then asked if we were serious about buying and that he is not in the business of test driving cars. Which IMO was a rude thing to say. He then spent about 10 minutes doing something. I brought my brother with me because he knows more about cars then I do and wanted him there to drive the car to see if it's suitable and to see if there is no immediate issues he could find. The salesperson came back and informed me that he can't let my brother drive. He then informed me that I can only drive and that he would be with us in the car. This is a clear violation of COVID19 safety precautions. It wasn't even about him riding in the car with us. But it was clear that the person was not interested in helping us. And just judged me and my brother because we were young and we were people of color. both of us are successful engineers. We can afford cars and I actually drove in a car that is more valuable than the ones we asked to drive. My brother confronted the salesperson and told him that he has attitude problems. We told him we were leaving. The salesperson never tried to make things right. He was happy to see us leave. I called the dealership after arriving home to speak with a supervisor as this behavior was not appropriate. The manager gave me a call back and we spoke on the phone. the manager clearly spoke to this salesperson before speaking with me. The manager claimed that they don't allow customers test drive their more expensive vehicles and it's a dealership policy. Again this is inconsistent as this is not the same thing that the salesperson told us. I got pretty emotional on the phone call because I felt were being treated unfairly. I told the manager I need to speak someone higher up to confirm this policy and he denied my request. I hanged up the phone. I have never in my life heard of a dealership not allowing customers to test drive vehicles. I have been to plenty of dealerships and with prestigious brands. No one has dared treat us like this. I am not done with incident and I will try to contact Suburban HQ about this issue. We feel that were treated unfairly and we were judged based on our appearances. From our age to our skin color. If you are a person of color, please avoid this dealership. More
