Amazing experience buying an XC60! I had been searching for a new car and doing research on all the cars in the class I was interested in driving. I wanted a smaller SUV. This should be I had been searching for a new car and doing research on all the cars in the class I was interested in driving. I wanted a smaller SUV. This should be easy, right? I began test driving all of the cars I thought I might want, and the story was the same with each: the seats were rock hard!! They knew people were going to sit in these, right? People who own couches and enjoy comfort? Then I showed up at Courtesy Volvo. Ed Himes met me in the lobby, and we began discussing what I was looking for in a new car. Within minutes I was test driving a Volvo, and I'm not joking...I got a little emotional and even cried a little bit!! Not only was the car incredibly comfortable, but the features were amazing!! It didn't hurt that the lines on the car were really great looking. I told Ed he better get the papers started because I was going to get this car! This car buying experience was truly fantastic!! Ed Himes is helpful, kind, and doesn't use pressure to sell (he doesn't need to because the car sells itself). We had a delightful time sharing stories of growing up in Phoenix and he made sure he found the best snacks for me in the busy Saturday showroom. Ed is a great teacher and extremely patient. The XC60 is a computer on wheels, so Ed spent a great deal of time showing me how to work the systems, but was also sensitive to time and told me to drive it a few days then come back with my questions. Truly, he is all about great service and making sure his customers are happy!! Even though I could have waited on Saturday to do the paperwork and drive away, it was getting late and I knew I could wait until Monday. Well, I learned a little secret! When you make an appointment to pick up your car on a Monday morning, the process is smooth as silk!! They had my papers all ready to sign. Ed had everything waiting for me displayed like a jewelry store - the keys were in a beautiful display box, and a screen polisher and leather treatment cloths were there as well. It was quiet, and we were able to get through the process in no time at all. A special shout out to Jeremy Sarnataro and Michael Gronski. Jeremy is the Sales Manager, and he took time to explain the difference to me between how regular dealerships work and how Volvo works, showing me the extent of care Volvo goes to care for their customers. He was willing to work with me to get the best deal possible on the car even though it was a very busy day when I was purchasing. I was really grateful. And Michael Gronski in finance moved like lightning to get me through the paperwork. He was kind and efficient, and the most difficult part of the process wasn't hard at all! I have purchased many cars over the years, so I am well versed in how painful the car buying process can be. I was thrilled to purchase from Courtesy Volvo. The dealership is beautiful, the employees are exemplary, and I believe they truly care about their customers. They also have the most extensive Volvo inventory in Arizona. I am so grateful I got to work with Ed Himes. Ed made the entire process enjoyable, and that is saying a lot in comparison to other car buying experiences. Thank you so much for all of your help!! Driving away in my new Volvo was a complete joy!!! More

Great car buying experience! I absolutely dread car shopping so, though I knew I wanted a new car, I was dreading the process. Right from the start, the experience was different. I absolutely dread car shopping so, though I knew I wanted a new car, I was dreading the process. Right from the start, the experience was different. The offices/showroom was beautiful and clean. And we lucked out and got Ed Himes as our sales consultant. He was wonderful! He didn't hound - he didn't talk 90 miles an hour trying to sell us a car, he just walked up and said "would you like me to get the keys?" Then he said, "I have to ride with you but I'll sit in the back and be quiet." And he was! We got to talk and experience the car without being "sold" and when we had questions, he had answers! We felt Ed was in our corner and rooting for us to get the car we wanted at the best deal. I have already recommended him and its only been 24 hours! I also want to give a shout out the Jeremy Sarnataro. He worked hard to get us a car at a price we were comfortable with. We feel he went above and beyond to make us happy customers and help us get where we needed to be. Jeremy Ransom in Finance was great to work with, too. As everyone knows, by the time you get to finance, you are ready to be done! He was warm and friendly and worked to get us a better interest rate than we thought was possible. Great people! I recently visited Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale while shopping for a vehicle. I called about a car I found online and spoke to Ed Himes. When we arriv I recently visited Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale while shopping for a vehicle. I called about a car I found online and spoke to Ed Himes. When we arrived at the dealership he had the vehicle waiting up front and was very patient and pleasant as he answered our questions and took us on a test drive. We sat down to go over numbers and it was a very easy, low pressure experience. Ed and the manager, Jeremy, presented us a great deal and were willing to go above and beyond for us. Although they were giving us a great deal, I ultimately decided to buy a different vehicle somewhere else that I had looked at previously. They were very understanding and I truly appreciated their time and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend Ed Himes and Courtesy Volvo! More

I had regular service needed later that year and went to Volvo of Tempe (now Gilbert to my understanding). Judson White was the service technician at this time, and based on my experience I have gone to no one else. Judson cared for my C30 for as long as I owned it, and treated me with the utmost honesty and respect in all of the years I worked with him. I recently had a battery issue ( I know... don’t go to the dealership!) and I found that Judson had move to Courtney Volvo of Scottsdale, so of course I followed him. Judson is reliable, loyal and dedicated to the Volvo brand beyond the dealership he calls home. He is efficient and patient, which are much needed people skills when charging dealership service prices that can be significantly higher that average. Based on my service visit with Jud and the time he took to deal with my car and needs, I eventually traded in for a new Volvo at Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale. I am happy and relieved to know that Judson is there and able to know my personal Vovlo experiences and those that may occur with my new Volvo. Bravo Judson! More

They were very accommodating to our vehicle buying process, thus making us feel at ease with no pressure of purchasing. We found the exact vehicle we wanted at this dealership and we had been looking for approx 6 months. The price, value, low mileage, the spaciousness of the interior and the overall great condition of the vehicle were all the reasons why we purchased the GMC Yukon. Andrew was a great salesperson, he was easy going, not pushy, funny and overall made us laugh on several occasions and he made us feel very welcome! We liked working with him and we'll refer more customers to him for future car purchases. Jason and Jeremy were very helpful!! They went above and beyond to ensure our happiness with our financial investment, working diligently during our loan process. They always made us feel lik they had our best interest and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy! We trusted them during the sales/finance process, and they stood by their words and finalized our deal much to our satisfaction!!
