I ended up leaving the dealership driving to another Volkswagen dealership where I was treated like gold and drove home in my new car!! More

That is the crooked lying sorry stereotype of a car dealer that you have come to expect. If you want to be lied to and ridiculed please come to this dealer. If you want to buy a car from an honest person you should go somewhere else. I'm pretty sure there is a law against false advertising. These people don't care. I don't know how they sleep at night. Service people nice; Sales side not so great! I have a 2010 VW CC that I bought 2 years ago (2013) as a CPO with 29,000 miles on it. One would think there should not be any issues with the car si I have a 2010 VW CC that I bought 2 years ago (2013) as a CPO with 29,000 miles on it. One would think there should not be any issues with the car since it has low milage and it is CPO. Not the case. First let's start with the issue with the finance manager. Tim started the paperwork and put initial registration fees in for Texas when I wanted to just transfer plates over my old Passat. Then on the paperwork charged me SC fees too, thus overcharging me by 1300 dollars. "You will get a check in the mail," he said. Now I'm paying interest on an extra 1300 dollars, when he could have just redid the paperwork and made it right. As for the car, now, New Years weekend, it will be the shop for 4th time in 2 years. In the shop for the fourth time for mechanical issues, not regular maintenance. The first time, 3 months after having the vehicle, it went into the shop because I hose was not attached properly. The 2nd time the ignition coil failed. The 3rd time because, again, the ignition coils failed. Now the 4th time because mechatronics transmission has failed. When I took it to Rusty Wallis on the 3rd time, Jeff Wallis, did not acknowledge as serious problem with the multiple times it had to be in the shop or the finance manager's failure at correcting my paperwork when he needed to; he tried to get me to sign paperwork for a leased vehicle below the vehicle I was already in! I will never do business with them again. More

I PURCHASED ON LEASE A PASSAT IN 2014. BEAUTIFUL... ABOUT A YEAR INTO THE LEASE I GET A CALL FROM THEIR LEASING SALES REP STATING I CAN PUT YOU IN A NEW CAR LEASE AND I WAS LIKE WELL I'M LOOKING FOR TWO PURCHASES. HE STATED OKAY WE CAN DO THAT FOR YOU NOT A PROBLEM. SO ONE SATURDAY AFTER TELLING HIM MY CREDIT WAS NOT PRESTIGE AND I WANTED EVERYTHING READY HE STATED OKAY WE HAVE EVERYTHING. LOW AND BEHOLD NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO WAIT 4 HOURS BUT THEY CAME BACK WITH A NO DUE TO HAIL DAMAGE TO THE CAR. I WAS SO DEVISTATED BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A FRESH START. A WEEK LATER I GET A CALL FROM AUTONATION VW IN RICHARDSON, TX AND EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THEY ASKED FOR ALL MY INFO FOR FINANCING AND A FEW HOURS LATER HAD ME COME IN WITH THE 2014 PASSAT AND AFTER THEY TOOK THE PAYOFF CAME BACK AND SAID MA'AM PICK OUT A COLOR FOR YOUR NEW PASSAT PURCHASE... NOT A LEASE NOT A USED CAR BUT A NEW ONE. THE GROUP AT AUTO NATION WERE SO HELPFUL AND SO COMPASSIONATE. FUNNY THING IS I TOLD THEM I HAVE A SETTLEMENT COMING AND A FEW FAMILY MEMBERS THAT NEED A CAR. THEY WERE EXTREMLY HELPFUL AS THEY READ WHAT THE ATTORNEY HAD GIVEN ME. RUSTY WALLACE JUST LAUGHED AT ME AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. SO I HAVE ORDER 4 VW CARS FOR 4 FAMILY MEMBERS AND RECOMMEND PURCHASEDING FROM AUTONATION VW BECAUSE OF THEIR COMPASSION, FRIENDLYNESS AND UNDERSTANDING... THEY HAVE WON MY BUSINESS AND 4 CARS LATER IN 1 MONTH... WELL AS YOU CAN SEE RICHARDSON, TX WON MY SALE AS A CLIENT... RUSTY WALLACE LOST IT. Great experience I went into just test drive a Jetta and a Passat and Carlos Casanova was the sales man helping me. Dishonest Sales Manager Sales Manager (not sales rep) at Rusty Wallis VW is the worst and the most dishonest sales people I have ever dealt with. So I would never recommend this dealership to my friends or family. I was interested in taking advantage of VW's amazing current special offer that gives you BOTH special low APR (i.e. 0% for 60mo) AND $1,000 Reward Card so I ran TrueCar and chose Rusty Willis to visit. A long story to short, I had to reach out to VW Credit (manufacturer) to validate if I can get both, not either, as stated at their website, in order for me to challenge their Sales Manager who introduced himself to me as a son of Rusty Willis and did NOT disclose the fact that $1,000 Reward Card comes with 0% APR. Instead, he and his sales guy forced me to choose EITHER 0% APR OR $1,000 Reward Card with $1,000 increase on offer price. I returned next day with my trade-in vehicle hoping they admit their "intentional" misunderstanding. When I faced the same Sales Manager, a son of Rusty Willis, I let him know that I contacted VW Credit and they confirmed that any customers are supposed to enjoy both, not either. It was when a son of Rusty Willis started showing his true color and attitude which I was very interested in observing. He totally lost his coolness and said that do not care about his business and mind my own business. It is something I never expected to hear from any sales people from any industries. So lesson learned: Always check with a manufacturer when a dealership tells you a different story and do not deal with Rusty Willis VW. More
