Straight CROOKS - please do not buy a car from Castle Chevy. I bought a car from this place, and it had a cracked windshield because it was a “new arrival” and they hadn’t had the time to repair it yet Chevy. The windshield took over a week to come in for some reason, and then after it finally did, they realized they ordered the wrong one. Our salesman offered to deliver the car to our home which is 1 hour away, because of the inconvenience they caused. After about 3-4 more days of waiting for them to re-order and install the new one, the vehicle was delivered. Immediately, the vehicle began to make a high pitch screeching noise when the speed dropped below 25mph. We contacted our salesman that same night to schedule it for service, but we could not secure an appointment until 4 days later. In the meantime, we realized that the vehicle was not only making that sound while in motion, but while idling too. We did some more research, including making phone calls to every business listed on the carfax, as well as doing some of our own digging inside the vehicle. Come to find out, the car is a used police interceptor. The vehicle was previously owned by Enterprise, and was leased out to Chicago PD for the last 7 years. When the lease terminated and the vehicle was turned in, Enterprise conducted an inspection and the vehicle did not pass, so it was sent to auction which is where it was purchased by Castle. Inside the vehicle, we found microphones, holes drilled above windshield and back window (where light bars previously hung), and cables that are not found in civilian vehicles, among other things. The most concerning part of all is that the original computer was removed from the vehicle at some point, making the current engine hours unavailable for any future owner. Despite this evidence, Castle still insists that an older gentleman traded the vehicle in for a new Chevy Equinox. Although the sound we were hearing could easily just be a worn belt, this car posed too much of a risk & we decided to return the vehicle to the dealership so that we could go elsewhere to find a reliable vehicle. Castle took almost 3 weeks to issue a refund, and the only possible way to speak to anyone is to visit the dealership in person. Even after doing so multiple nights in a row (2hr drive total each time), we were told the check was overnighted to our bank on several occasions (but it would never get delivered), they refused to give us a tracking number and/or check number, and we were accused of not contacting them for 2 weeks in a row. One night in particular, we had a verbal conflict with Jasper Marino - he may possibly be the biggest headache of an employee they have there. He’ll accuse you of anything under the sun to transfer the blame off of his own shoulders. We sold the car I was driving previously to a private party, so I was out of a car for the entire duration of this mess, and had no way to purchase another one without paying off my original loan. Save your time, energy, and money by steering clear of this place. I can’t warn you enough! More

Very poor in terms of providing clarity and information regarding the vehicle I purchased. My overall experience has been awful, I've been calling constantly to get a hold of someone in the dealership and they all have been dodging my calls and not getting back to me. took them a week to get me the service done to the vehicle under their possession and I come to later find out the car had bondo work and the paint was completely cracked through. I asked if they did the brakes and to get the information regarding the tread depth and brake rotor life and I got nothing. Also the TPMS light went on when I left the dealership and I forwarded all the information to the Salesman who helped me. wasn't necessarily his fault but the manager there Jacper is a complete and utter liar. as of right now I have found out that the vehicle has multiple things wrong with it. I overpaid for the vehicle it was the most expensive one on the market. it did drive the nicest in comparison to other vehicles I saw but after the fact I'm noticing all these different things suggesting otherwise. I need to get new brakes because the car pulls to the right when I brake and stutters because the rotors are warped. all they did was and oil change for the vehicle they probably made 5k+ on. I do not recommend this dealership in the slightest. worst communication by far and they all avoid problems. I will update my comments if there are any compensation for the horrible service I received. More

I was under the impression that a buyer had at least 3 days to return a car as I've heard at least 7 days many times. My complaint is mainly with the way I was treated by the General Manager Michael C days to return a car as I've heard at least 7 days many times. My complaint is mainly with the way I was treated by the General Manager Michael Castagnino. I went in to discuss my situation with him. He was civil at first, but then became aggressive. I had previously discussed my problem with a friend who also works for Chevrolet and he was sure that most dealers will accommodate their customers with the return option in these types of situations. When I tried calling my friend from the Castle store, Mr. Castagnino started yelling to everyone in the store saying that I was lying and trying to buy a different car. He tried to embarrass and demean me. This was unacceptable and at one point he became aggressive telling me that I would be arrested for fraud if I tried to back out of the deal. I have since filed complaints with Chevrolet and will keep going until someone can explain how that kind of customer service is acceptable. I might expect to be treated this way by an independent dealership, but not the front line of Chevrolet. I would've tried to build a good relationship with that dealership if it wasn't for Michael Castagnino's indifference and lack of respect to the customer. Chevrolet should be held accountable for their dealerships. Their hands off attitude when it comes to how their dealerships are run is sad for our country. So much for Chevy being an American icon and being respected as part of American culture. More

A surprisingly wonderful car buying experience! My husband, Tom, and I were "looking" for a Chevy Malibu. Jasper greeted us as we entered the dealership. We discussed the Malibu LS and LT with Jas My husband, Tom, and I were "looking" for a Chevy Malibu. Jasper greeted us as we entered the dealership. We discussed the Malibu LS and LT with Jasper. After driving both vehicles and discussing what we "seniors" really wanted in a car, Jasper assisted us in choosing the LS. We definitely wanted the LS (although it did not come in Red per Tom's request) but we rarely, if ever, buy something that expensive on the first visit. Jasper, the "pro", stated the dealership wanted to sell us a car. After much give and take, we did purchase the "silver" Malibu LS. When we came to pick up the car the next day, Jasper was there ready to assist us. Jasper not only showed us key features of the car but also programed my IPhone to get me started. I would be amiss if I did not say I truly delighted in the humorous give and take between Dave, Jasper. Tom and me. I must mention that Jeff was also very knowledgeable and a delight to converse with regarding not only Chevy cars but many interesting topics. Will I return to Castle Chevrolet in Villa Park again? You betcha!! More
