2017 GMC Sierra Dealer services were performed to all expectations. Although I am a bit concerned at GM with the problems with the 8 speed transmission. It has been p Dealer services were performed to all expectations. Although I am a bit concerned at GM with the problems with the 8 speed transmission. It has been put in relearn 2 times and has not alleviated the problems with hard up shifts in 1st to second shift or the problem of when you stop at a stop sign or red light and the transmission remains in second gear. As soon as you release the brake it jumps into 1st gear and into traffic. This problem will have a bearing on the purchase of a 2019 Denali since I am afraid that the problem will only be passed on to the 10 speed transmission and nothing will be don about it. More

2017 GMC Sierra had issues with transmission hard shifts 1&2 up and 1&2 down shifts, had popping in front end while turning slow. The technician performed updates on had issues with transmission hard shifts 1&2 up and 1&2 down shifts, had popping in front end while turning slow. The technician performed updates on the transmission and retorqued bolts on front end, after test drive home the transmission shifted normal again and no popping in the front end.
