A little about myself! I'm a military Brat! My Dad was in the Air Force, so we traveled a lot. I lived in Puerto Rico and Guam. I spent four years in the Navy and I'm proud to have served my country. I love when I run across a customer who was in any branch of the military, but more so if they were former Navy! I spent most of my Post Navy career in the food service industry as a Manager. Being a huge people person and after being in customer service for years, makes me enjoy selling cars! I get to talk to people from all walks of life, and I love it!!

Wonderful customer service Salesman volunteered to drive out of his way, on his day off, to pick me up and take me to the dealership. My first positive car buying experience! I had an AWFUL experience at a different dealership in Columbia a year ago and was very apprehensive about purchasing another used vehicle. I dont know how to title this review. I came to Hyundai on September 30 and talked with Dan on the phone. He went above and beyond on customer service. When I walked in he was looking for I came to Hyundai on September 30 and talked with Dan on the phone. He went above and beyond on customer service. When I walked in he was looking for the car I had asked about l, that was on in stock so it would have to be delivered. After he found the right car we talked numbers and came to an agreement, because my co-signer was not there we had the numbers all figured up. When I came back in on Monday, October 2, Robert Meldrum, greeted me and told me that Dan was sick. That made me a little worried just because Dan and I had everything figured out and ready but, Edward was amazing he was ready to take on my purchase. The thing that took the longest was the call to the bank it seriously took forever. He was really informative during the wait period on the phone he kept up the conversation and answered the million questioned I had. Then we met Tanner in the finance department and he was super nice and very professional. He did an amazing job explaining the extra 'insurance' Hyundia offered. I wish I could express how satisfied I am with the staff at Joe Machens Hyundia. They made the process so simple and they have my business as long as I need a car. 🤘🏼 More

Browsing around for replacement vehicle My wife and I had been looking all day for a vehicle since the one we had died. We had no intention of buying a car that day. We were only pricing t My wife and I had been looking all day for a vehicle since the one we had died. We had no intention of buying a car that day. We were only pricing to get an idea of what would work and what we could afford. Edward approached us and started a conversation that ended up with us buying a new 2018 Hyundai Elantra. Edward was very helpful in explaining financing options and helping us to get the payment we wanted. He answered any questions we had and if he did not know the answer he tracked them down for us. Overall this car buying experience was a good experience. Car buying is never excellent, I do not like the whole process, but overall Edward did a great job to make the experience the best it could be. More

Great experience! I was not necessarily in the market for a new car but struck up a conversation with Ed while waiting for a routine service....we hit it off, as we are I was not necessarily in the market for a new car but struck up a conversation with Ed while waiting for a routine service....we hit it off, as we are both in sales and recounted funny stories about cars and sales! I mentioned I wouldn't mind visiting with him about the newer model of my vehicle and after a little bit of phone tag over the summer I came in to meet with him! Ed and the staff were able to get me where I wanted to be as far as the numbers went with very little hassle and I was able to drive my new car off the lot! Looks like I found my new car salesman!
