Do NOT buy a car from the Ed Martin Auto Group, especially if you are trying to buy online, they are the epitome of used car salesman. Only care to get the sale. My family and I had been looking for a particular used SUV that led us to EM Chrysler/Dodge. Working with the Used Car Manager, Dereck Barker, I was able to find the SUV that my wife had wanted, loaded, V8, low miles, tow package, Certified, etc. This had been hard to find and since working on the phone, I wanted assurance that we "had" the car bc it was an Anniversary gift. Dereck sent me the "Bill of Sale" and assurance it was done. All he was doing was "getting drivers to deliver it to us". So I printed copies of the pictures and surprised my wife and kids that night with the car. Only to get a text the next morning that read the car had sold. What? We have since been patronized by the General Manager, Brian Burke, that he was going to "make it right". Well, a month and a half later we sit here with the hope that they actually cared now gone. This is a slimy used car dealership network, I even talked to the owner Mark Harrison, hoping that he could get his employees to do what they promised...nothing. All they care about is the sale and screwing a customer is no big deal. This was the Used Car Manager and the General Manager, they both know they had sold the car, but during the process they found a better sale and did think twice about screwing me or my family. I hope at least one other person reads this and thinks twice. Do not believe one word that comes out of their mouths. UPDATE: We went on their Facebook page and left similar statement; after it caught others eyes and comments started to be added, they removed my statement completely. Do not buy from this automotive group. They only care about the sale in front of them. SLIMY CAR SALESMAN all around. More

Great place with great people. James Brooks and Dereck Barker are top-notch. Both gentlemen were friendly, knowledgeable, & efficient and were kind enough to stay after hours to insure we could drive away Barker are top-notch. Almost New Truck I brought a truck from James Brooks today, I live over 3 hours away and saw the truck on line, Scary right, he did everything he said he would. Our New Renegade We're in Indianapolis - not that, that is so far - but we didn't want to drive to Anderson and spend the day looking at vehicles and negotiating. We found exactly what we wanted online in Ed Martin Jeep's inventory. I made a call to James Brooks and described our trade and offered our terms. We made two additional calls to each other before reaching agreement. He took our info and we began the drive to Anderson. When we arrived our new vehicle was all cleaned and waiting for us in the service bay. We were able to look it over out the elements. We then went on a test drive and were in love with our new Renegade. All that needed to be accomplished now was that the staff at Ed Martin agreed with my assessment of our trade and finish some paperwork. We did have to wait in the service lounge until another customer finished their paperwork and then were taken into the business office. Because of the Corona Virus the showroom was closed by order of the Mayor. Even without these unusual circumstances this transaction couldn't have gone smoother. This is the second vehicle we purchased from an Ed Martin dealership. We came back in part because the first transaction went so smoothly and we felt we were treated fairly. This time was even better. Thanks to James and Dereck we're enjoying our new Renegade. We love it! More
