I can be pretty skeptical about having someone work on my car. Usually my husband does 90% of the maintenance and repairs on our vehicles. But since I bought my first Subaru at Herb Gordon, I have been going car. Usually my husband does 90% of the maintenance and repairs on our vehicles. But since I bought my first Subaru at Herb Gordon, I have been going there for much of the work. I feel like they've been honest with me as far as what my car needs and what my husband can do. (So that's helped on some of the labor costs and I really appreciate that!) Shout out to my new favorite service advisor, Michael Goodman! And the last time I went in I did not have an appointment, I was just doing the walk-in Express. All of the service advisors were busy, so the service director, Greg Edwards came right out to help me. Quality leadership makes a great team! Thank you Greg and Michael! More

My experience with the service department was similarly friendly, informative, and no pressure. At so many other dealerships, you call a receptionist, get put on hold, and talk to some random person in the service department. At Herb Gordon, I have a service agent, Mike G., that I can call or email directly if I have concerns about the car. It’s such a great idea to build these relationships into the service department. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Subaru to check out Herb Gordon! More

Debbie was patient, helpful, went above and beyond to find us the right car. Every step of the way, she ensured that our purchase and trade-in were smooth and pleasant. She took her time in finding the right car for us and never once was pushy. Over a month and three to four cars went by before we decided on the one that we really wanted. Jim Walker helped us with finalizing the paperwork. The whole experience was a letdown. We felt being rushed through the process of signing the papers. Explanations were provided, ok ...but when we tried to ask questions or get him to slow down, it was obvious that Jim was a bit annoyed. He also tried to push the aftermarket maintenance plans that we decided we didn't really need. We went with the lowest one based on our previous Subaru owning experience. It was clear that Jim wasn't happy with our decision and still tried to push it rudely it felt almost like an insult. Given that it was past the dealership closing time, we thought that maybe he didn't get paid or wasn't paid enough for the time he spent with us. But Jim should have put professionalism first and taken his dissatisfaction out somewhere else and not on customers. We did bring it up to the management and were happy with how they handled the situation. But we found this website and thought that it would be fair that others get to learn about our experience too. More
