purchased 2 2011 chevy equinox's I'll start out with the good and then finish with the bad. worked w/ Steve knowledge of the car was excellent. Steve then worked w/ Andy and got me the best possible price t good and then finish with the bad. worked w/ Steve knowledge of the car was excellent. Steve then worked w/ Andy and got me the best possible price they presented everything in writing to me no hard sell like I received from Golf Mill Ford. Bob in Finnace got me a nice rate with 1 car the other I bought outright. Steve the set me up with my cars set up the phones went over all the all the options it was at the end of the night by the time it was done everyone had gone and it was raining so it was a little rushed but I didn't have a problem with it. OVERALL first experience of buying the car was GREAT! Now the next day I end up with a flat tire I picked up a nail I believe at Jennings because they are remodeling the entire dealership. I bring it in I find Steve he tells the service manager Mark they repair it and order me a new tire call me in a day tire is replaced great job. This was just the start of things to come with this car. I drive the car for a couple of weeks I love it! Now the engine light comes on and the car stalls I end up getting the car going and limp it to Jennings, I see Jeff in service he hooks me up with a loaner for a day checks it all out repairs it and I'm on my way again. I drive the car for a weekand it stalls again and I limp in again to Jennings. I see Jeff hooks me up with a loaner again but this time they fix it and test drive it for a week to see if they can set it off it's fine and I get it back. I drive it one day and it happens again I see Jeff and the loaner again. this time they test drive it for 2 weeks and give it back to me. I get it back and it does it again so it's a total of 4 engine lights with 4 differant codes. Now it's considered a lemon and they go with the process with GM to get me a new car. during this time I'm still driving a loaner. But now my wife's car has the stall with the engine light I guess it's the same problem that I had with mine the first time. Now I have Mark & Rick working on my wife's car they reserch it and find a memo how to correct the problem that came out a month after mine occured. Now we are driving 2 loaners. They test drive my wife's car for a week or 2 and haven't had a problem since. Now I'm driving the loaner and waiting on the new car. Now Rick calls me and says the sales manager Deano Fain wants me to turn in my loaner and drive the lemon till the new car comes in. How many times do I need to get hit with a baseball bat their is a reason I'm getting a new car. By this time my new car is getting closer I'm starting to deal with GM I explain what is happening GM calls me back in 5 minutes says stay in loaner they will contact Jennings. My dealigs with GM were excellent I dealt with a Kristen and another women. During this time and currently I'm dealing with my mother's failing health. My mother is my biggest concern the car is just an annoyance. But to put me into a bad car with the my mothers failing health was not a smart move by Jennings. My expirence with Deano Fain the guy should be fired but I know that won't happen because he propably saves Jennings money but really loses Jennings money in the end by people not coming back. The guy puts blam on on other people where he is the person responable. If this was my last experince with Jennings I would never go back and put on a compain to other people not to buy from Jennings. But Andy and Steve saved the day when my car finally came in they covered most of my loses. Because I financed my car I lost some money because of interest. But really GM/JENNINGS covered me because I was always in a car during my problem cars. Nobody wins with a problem car and things happen today with all the electronics involved the true precision elements of the car are compromised. If Steve and Andy are there when I purchase a new car again I would buy from Jennings. If those people are gone and Deano Fain is there I would not buy from Jennings. Steve and Andy should be applauded for their hard work they did for me! If not for my experience with Deano I would have given Jennings an excellent across the board. Deal with Steve and Andy and there service was excellent too. Mark Allison Glenview IL More

There is a reason for remembering all of these names. tech, Mike in parts, Harold in parts, Marvin in Parts, Bob DiCiccio, Ken Ward, Ken Schultz. There is a reason for remembering all of these names. Everyone was helpful and all have be come a friend in one way or another. My name is Steven Cohen, Northbrook, IL. I recently purchased a 2008 Suburban from Jennings Cheverolet but I have been a customer for years both purchaseing cars and service. Any time I call in they treat me with respect, order parts with realistic pricing and deliver. I feel that they really know there inventory and parts. I have never felt pushed and are very lucky to have a Chevy store near my home that has service till 11pm... Other dealers are not around right now. I am sure there are plenty of reasons. Jennings diffinatley is ahead of other dealers due to there people and service. I come from a family business too. Jennings treats you like family by making you feel welcome and appreciated each and everytime we come to the store. Thank you, Steven Cohen 630-258-2543 More

Rick and Bob worked together to find me not only a great car, but at a great price. I came in on a budget, and when they showed me the car I thought they were crazy. Only to find out the price was well with car, but at a great price. I came in on a budget, and when they showed me the car I thought they were crazy. Only to find out the price was well within my budget, and the car was nicely appointed. Any question I had they either answered or got me an answer within moments, overall easily the best experience I have had at a car dealership. More

I can honestly say that when i first walked into the dealership I was very apprehensive. Anytime you are looking to make a large purchase you have to be on your "A game" or you can easily get sucked int dealership I was very apprehensive. Anytime you are looking to make a large purchase you have to be on your "A game" or you can easily get sucked into the BS. In walking into the dealership my husband and I were immediatley greeted at the door by Alan Stern, Alan was very knowlegeable about the car we wanted and was able to provide us facts on the purchase we were considering. He was very personable and not at all pretenious. We enjoyed his laid back attitude and he made us very comfortable. We later met with Robert DiCicco, who went WAY above his duty by coming in on his day off to help us with our financing and offered us a better solution to the problem we had. That to me shows extreme dedication when you take the time (on your day off) to help a customer. Chris Hallenberg was another sales person that assisted us (as Alan was new) and he was also very knowledgeable, personable and kind. I didn't get the feeling that we were being "tricked" into believing this is how they act on a day-to-day basis but I truly believe the reason they have been so successful is because of the attitude and exceptional customer service that they provide. It's very rare that you met a group of people who are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy and content with your purchase. I even received a follow-up call to see how I was enjoying my new purchase!! I will recommed this dealership to all my family and friends! More

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Jerry Perberg at Jennings. We were both very impressed with the level of service provided by Jerry and his team. They were friendly, helpful and very kno Perberg at Jennings. We were both very impressed with the level of service provided by Jerry and his team. They were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The first comment my wife made to me when we left was how they were not pushy and how comfortable she felt with everyone she met there. Jerry is a very genuine individual who we could tell cares about his customers, including us. It was his excellent service that brought us back to buy the car. After Jerry was done helping us negotiate the price (which by the way, we got a very good deal on a great car!) he introduced us to his Manager Ray and Finance Manager Bob. Both Ray and Bob were very nice. They did a great job of getting us the price we needed with a monthly payment that stayed in our budget. Buying a car can be a daunting experience, but not at Jennings with folks like Jerry and his team. Thanks gents! You have certainly made us long term customers. Adam & Sarah Thompson More

My husband purchased a 5 year old Chevy SSR - they let him take the car for the day before deciding to buy - when we returned to the showroom there was no pressure from Steve to buy the car. When we deci him take the car for the day before deciding to buy - when we returned to the showroom there was no pressure from Steve to buy the car. When we decided yes, Bob the financial guy was informative, funny and honest about what he does and helped work out a payment to go with our budget. I made an appointment to bring in my Saturn for an oil change, Kamil in the Service Dept setup my appt. When I came in the next day he gave me an approx. amount of time that I would be there and I was out even sooner. My car was washed and wipe clean on the inside but most of all the staff at Jennings is truly friendly and helpful. More

From the salesperson through to the Finance department they were wonderful. I had gone to 2 other dealerships trying to get a car loan and Jennings made it happen. They made me feel respected and valued. they were wonderful. I had gone to 2 other dealerships trying to get a car loan and Jennings made it happen. They made me feel respected and valued. There are no words to describe how great an experience they made this for me and I drove out in my new 2010 car with payments that they made sure would work for me. I intend to recommend them to all my friends and I will to them for all the service on my car. More

I initially brought my 2001 In for repairs, but after a week of looking at it and trying to figure out the problem, they couldn't. They could have tried to sell me several new parts, but they were not 100 week of looking at it and trying to figure out the problem, they couldn't. They could have tried to sell me several new parts, but they were not 100% sure it would fix it. I decided to buy a brand new car to replace it. This was the first time I bought a car alone, let alone a brand new car. As scary as it was I didn't feel like I was pressured, everyone was fair and honest. And they worked hard to make sure I got the best deal on the car that I could. More
