I bought a brand new vehicle from them, 2020 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus. I asked prior to buying if the car any wrecks or accidents and can I have the car fax. They said absolutely no damages or wrecks it’s brand new. The car fax they said to me, their isn’t one because I’m gonna be the first registered person to the car and the first title holder. I got the keys and was told that my insurance on my car I was trading in is good for 10 days, so I said oh ok. I called the next day to insure it and was told there was a red flag on the vin number for my vehicle. I said what!! She said it shows; salved title, damaged or lost and stolen. I said it’s brand new how is this possible? She told me sorry but now my premium is doubled and tripled for me, to go back and speak to them. I went back and they said only thing they can think of is maybe some hail damage but it wasn’t damaged they just made a claim. I said well no one told me this prior and you told me that there were no damages or wrecks I asked and for a car fax. They said it wasn’t damaged and thats weird. I again asked for a car fax and was told the same thing. I then had to pay the 40.00 dollars myself to see the car fax and sure enough it showed damage but can’t click on it to see what kind. I then went back and asked to speak to a manger to fix this problem. I then had April Babcock call me and tell me what actually happened was the car was hit on the lot and they fixed it. I told her why wouldn’t anyone tell me this and 3 other people said it was hail and now you say it’s been hit on the lot. Where is the disclaimer for it in my contract and paperwork? She said she doesn’t have to disclose anything to me. She then said she will extend my warranty, I said I don’t want that. Just make it right, I bought a brand new car based on what I was told by you guys and now my insurance has doubled and tripled, not to mention if I want to trade this car in now or sell it say. It will show damage has been done to it and I’m not responsible and had nothing to do with that, why am I the one that has to suffer and pay more when I just wanted a brand new car that’s all. I don’t want nothing more or less just make it right; especially at a time like this with a pandemic going on and the world the way it is. I’m a single dad and just wanted a SUV for my daughters safety and a new car. She told me sorry she can extend my warranty and that’s it. Not to mention I never received my employee discount 1 percent below factory cost, the extra money they said they will knock off. The car was stickered for 30,000, I still have it. The base price is 27,000. How is 36,753 on my contract now. Especially when I had a trade in for 3k, my employee pricing, 4,250 in rebates and the extra money they were suppose to knock off. The website shows the car at 24,800 ok lol.. after all my discounts they get to 36,753 which is insane. I asked her about that and she said it’s factored in the pricing. I said where, all it shows is 36,753 then minus 7,250. That’s the 4,250 in rebates for a brand new car rebate that you get only if the car is brand new, and my trade in for 3k making it 7,250. Where is the other discounts and how did the car get to 36,753. She said it’s factored in the pricing again. Then she won’t return my phone calls or Denny Rodgers, been asking for Denny Rogers or April Babcock to make this right and please help me, this is crazy. But they won’t and just keep giving me the run around. I would never recommend them to anyone, I can’t believe they condone business like this and treat customers and scam them like this. Beware of them and their ways and make sure you never shop here. I have to start a lawsuit now and sue them my lawyer said and not just for the car now. I have records of everything, the phone calls, the times I went back up there, what they told me, calling Jeep itself and filing a complaint, filing a complaint with the lender capital one, filing a complaint with the vehicle motor company of my state, filing a complaint against landers as well. I have had to miss work, pay extra for daycare, pay extra for insurance and my lawyer said the pain and suffering as well as depression now. All I wanted was a car for my 4 year old daughter to be safe and I thought I was buying a brand new car as my contract states and I was told several times. Instead, they ripped me off and totally have no remorse for customers, their families, their time, their money and they have no morals. PLEASE BEWARE OF THEM AND MAKE SURE TO GO AND SHOP SOMEWHERE THAT HAS INTEGRITY AND WANTS TO SELL YOU A CAR OVER AND OVER AND GAIN YOUR BUSINESS FOR A LIFETIME, instead of a hit and run. More

They don't care that they have went to S I've bought over $150000 of cars from Landers in the last 10 years and they have went down hill from 2010 when I bought my first. The service has went from a few days to get an appointment to over a month and the service manager and customer service advisor say that is when the car owner is to bring the car in not when they work on it, The last time I tried to make an appointment the operator never picked up the phone and when I left a message I never even got a call back. I've tried leaving an email and letter for the general manager to explain to him how far the place has gone down hill and he doesn't even get the messages (when I talked to the customer service person she said all of those go through her). I'm stuck with a $55000 Jeep and have to go to a place that I don't want because this place will not fix their problem. I have had problems with their sales, service and finance departments and talked to all their managers before asking to speak to a general manager and NOBODY CARES! More

I wanted an upgrade so I bought a 2015 Grand Carvan with all the bells and whistles in my wife favorite color red. All 3 where sold to us by James Gillis, he was a great salesman and I told what we wanted and he made it happen. I will never buy anything but a Dodge from Landers and James Gillis. He even sold a Dodge Dart to my sister-in-law the next day. Great job James.Best dealership in the state of Louisiana. More
