Hello my name is Alexander Matallana. I was born in raised in Queens, NY. I have been in the customer service business for over 10 years with several years of Sales and Managerial experience. The reason I joined the automotive industry and Paragon Acura was to share my love for the Acura brand and, to provide truly exceptional customer service to the community I love so much. I always said to myself when purchasing/leasing my personal vehicles that I can provide a better experience than I was given. That was my major reason for jumping on board. I have been fortunate enough to achieve Acura's greatest accolades in my first 2 years with Acura that being The Platinum Council of Sales of Excellence. My main goal is to differentiate myself from other Sales Consultants by treating my clients fairly and providing a custom experience tailored to their wants and needs.

This dealership is the worst. I bought a brand new Acura and it broke down in the side offs the road the same day I bought it. They would not honor the warranty or give my money back. No attention to detail We went into this dealership today. We worked with Alex who was very nice. We were leasing a brand new top of the line MDX. It had some pretty big scu We went into this dealership today. We worked with Alex who was very nice. We were leasing a brand new top of the line MDX. It had some pretty big scuff Mark's on the back drivers side. We asked that they be removed. Alex brought it to recon and when it came back it lightened slightly. We told him that we would take it back to Maine and have our body shop do it. We asked that they cover $75.00. The sales mgr said no. He expected us to pay for it ourselves and then he implied that I was a liar. He acted just like one of those car sales managers you would come across in the 80's. Very snarky. The salesperson followed us out and tried to speak to us but there was no way that I would give my money to the manager. Eventually the manager came out to my car and gave us an apology and agreed. I told him how I felt about him and his childish behavior. He kicked us off his property. Last I knew. He didn't own the dealership. I feel bad for Alex. It's too bad that a manager would hurt a salespersons ability to earn money. More

Had an overall pleasant experience I applied for financing so the dealer knows I was serious. I had a prompt follow up and spoke to their "first engagers" over text. After sharing what I applied for financing so the dealer knows I was serious. I had a prompt follow up and spoke to their "first engagers" over text. After sharing what I was looking for we kept in contact and finally agreed to come in. He was pretty persistent but in a good way. Finally I manage to come in and meet with their sales person. The sales person was fine and had a better experience with him than the last visit with another salesman. I ended up closing on the lease same day. Definitely had to do my homework and stick to my guns. In the end I was pretty happy with the deal I got and the person who showed me around my car was very helpful. Would rate it close to a B+ More
