Can't go wrong buying your Subaru from Jeff at Grand Subaru Using an Internet service, I provided the Subaru Dealers in my area an exact detailed description of the color and options of the 2017 Forester I was Using an Internet service, I provided the Subaru Dealers in my area an exact detailed description of the color and options of the 2017 Forester I was ready to buy. Grand Subaru's Jeff Schade provided the first and only comprehensive email response and did so in minutes. In his response he told me they had an incoming Forester matching the exact model, color, and options I requested at a price that was lower that I expected. Great! I called him, put down a deposit via credit card, and added a few dealer installed options. I don't know how Jeff could have made it easier or been more pleasant. Next day, if I recall, Melissa Distel followed up with an email making sure everything was going well. She was pleased to know Jeff and I already had a deal. One thing I had to point out to her is the reason I was buying a car from Grand Subaru is they didn't provide the typical "Hey, we got cars, come on down for a test drive" slow response I got some some other dealers. I want everyone reading my review to understand I am not maligning other Subaru dealers. I am just pointing out given that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, Grand Subaru was the dealer that did a near perfect job of selling the way I wanted to buy. Just a few days later, Jeff let me know my Forester had arrived on time and we setup of an appointment to close the deal. The appointment went quick enough given the necessary amount of paperwork requiring signatures and an upsale for extended service. Al Hassan in Finance got us through finalizing payment, title, plates, and registration quick enough, as well. Boring, but necessary part done, Jeff mounted the plates and then provided an expert-level tour of our Forester. It wasn't the "here is your car and this is how to turn on the lights", but included how to add fluids, move seats, manage the climate control, attach multiple phones via Bluetooth, perform various systems operations, tips of using X-Mode, etc.... (Later, I went through the user manual cover to cover and don't think Jeff left anything out) Post sales follow-up both by Jeff and the Subaru Mothership has been timely, informative, useful, and in just the right amount. Subaru has really figured out how to do the post-sales stuff right. More

Don't Listen to the Competitors! My purchase wasn't really planned - my husband was buying and shopping, and I thought I might as well look into trading in my car because I wanted a S My purchase wasn't really planned - my husband was buying and shopping, and I thought I might as well look into trading in my car because I wanted a Subaru from the time I bought that...so I started to look to see what I could get for my car. I went to another dealer (who will remain nameless), and when I mentioned the price that Grand Subaru offered me for a vehicle, they told me stories about how they won't deliver and the price won't stay that way... etc. Told me to look at the reviews online - and I would see for myself. Well, I did look at the reviews - and the majority of them were good. The ones that were bad were for the dealer who was slamming Grand Subaru! So, I decided to go in and see for myself. My experience was great. They were very friendly, and I feel they were honest. It's only been a week since I picked up my new car, and it took less than a week to get in the exact vehicle I wanted. The OPPOSITE of what the other dealer told me. Nicole was very attentive and had a great sense of humor - she was a pleasure to deal with. The only other person we dealt DIRECTLY with was Al Hassan when we signed the papers - who was very friendly, as well as enthusiastic about our purchase - and gave us some great tips. I'm sure there were others that were instrumental in facilitating our purchase - but we didn't get to meet them. The names Chris and Damien were mentioned during the process - so maybe it was them. :) Even after the sale, Nicole has been amazing with follow up and answering questions... I know she's got to be crazy busy, so I give her a LOT of credit for keeping up with her customers and remembering who's who! I hope she doesn't forget, because I expect I will have questions in the future. Only issue I'm having is the remote start that came with the vehicle - it's not very 'remote,' but they have already agreed to look at it for me. Hopefully it will either work - or be removed and things will be made right somehow - but I'm confident that it will all work out. I recommend Grand Subaru - and am glad I didn't listen to the salesperson at the other dealership! THANK YOU, GRAND SUBARU!!! More

Nicole, my lead contact, was responsive throughout. She located the car I wanted and worked hard to deliver it even before promised. She also was amazingly patient and thorough in showing me the car's features. Al was informative and easy to work with, and Brian went to bat for me on to trade in. This is a dealer I will return to - thank you for making this purchase easy! More

She was quick to respond to my inquiries and helped me secure a very good price. She told me upfront that the particular color of Forester I ordered was taking longer to arrive. She was right. She was very accommodating when we were planning my visit to Grand for delivery. She had someone to pick me up at the O’Hare early in the morning. Once I was there, she was very respectful of my time since I had a long drive back home. I read lots of reviews about Grand Subaru on the Internet; mostly positive ones with some negative ones here and there. My own experience with Grand and their staff through my 2 purchases were very pleasant. They’ve streamlined the delivery-day logistics (checkout new car, chit-chat, finance, etc.) well. I spent just shy of 2 hours there. It took me over 3 hours back in 2014. Al, the finance guy, didn't use any high-pressure tactics and gave me a competitive price on Gold Plus warranty. I high recommend Grand Subaru and will do it again. Sandy Cuttone is highly recommended! More
