I would strongly advise NOT purchasing or serving a a car at Grimsby Hyundai. While the sales experience was fine the overall customer experience was dreadful and concluded with being directly lied to about warranty and other items. The two times my wife and I visited the dealership to purchase our brand new car we were kept waiting well over an hour before being helped. When finalizing the deal the business manager boldly lied about our warranty to try and upsell us on an 11 hundred dollar add-on. When challenged to put it in writing refused to do so. I personally had to contact Hyundai Canada to confirm his baseless claims. Accessories and add on which we were confirmed would arrive and be installed in time still haven’t shown up a week later, and it has been radio scilence from management. Grimsby Hyundai is a great way to wreck the excitement of buying a new vehicle. Be warned!

We had some problems with Hyundai Canada and Kathie came on board and championed our situation. I am not a very approachable person and don't like to have my personal space invaded. It's just who I am. Kathie got/gave a hug today. If the enormity of this is lost on you, then I can only try to understand.

I went to Cooksville Hyundai to get an AC inspection done as it was blowing Hot air in 30 degrees outside. Post a 10 min inspection, service guy came back and said the refrigerant was contaminated and our machine can’t pull the gas out. They claimed I had the wrong refrigerant installed and asked me to take it to another agency where I got my service done from 5 months ago as they claimed they could have done something to refrigerant. I called Kingcross Hyundai and they said nothing was touched related to AC in a oil change service of course. I tried to push cooksville to give me a solution or tell me what the actual issue is as the service was done 5 months ago and AC stopped working 2 days ago. They just basically told me to give them $170 bucks for a worthless inspection and go away in simple words.  I found time to drive 1.5 hour in 30 degrees from mississauga to Kingcross Scarborough location after a week and pay another $170 inspection fee to them due to cooksville's incapability.  Within 10 mins, they found a bird behind the bumper that had the whole AC condenser sheet damaged that caused refrigerant freon gas to leak. They told me the fix was to replace condenser sheet and recharge the gas for $1100 total. I was happy paying the inspection fee to them as they actually found the issue.  I went back to Cooksville hyundai to speak to their Service Manager Phil Scolieri which I thought would be a help considering his position which I am not sure how an incapable person got posted on. I asked him why their rookie mechanic did not tell me the actual issue being the whole condenser sheet being damaged and a literal dead bird sitting in the car and his reply was "Mechanic must have missed it" . I told him the job their team was paid for, was not done properly and the information provided "Refrigerant contaminated" was worthless as I still had to pay another location for the same job they were supposed to do. Phil's reply was "Charge is for the time Mechanic puts into the vehicle, He still worked on it". Even though I was told to take the car to another agency and the time technician put was worthless, I asked him the $170 is hourly however the max time your mechanic put was 10 mins. Phil's response "No, it was more time actually as we do a car wash as well".  I am filing this case with the consumer board as this had me suffer in peak heat for 3 weeks in addition to costing me worthless inspection fees and mental distress of trying to make a guy called Phil understand his job.

I want to draw attention to the supportive assistance provided by the team at the Stratford Hyundai, Service Department. Last week I noticed a concerning message on my instrument panel. I was sure I had mistakenly pushed some button to get this message. I went to my local dealership but given I did not have an appointment with a technician they were too busy to look at my car. I called Stratford Hyundai where I purchased my car and they immediately provided support: Tim tried to problem solve with me over the phone but I was not able to get this message off my instrument panel. I asked if it would be possible for someone at the service department to look at my car if I came to Stratford. Tim advised yes, a technician could look at my car. I live an hour from Stratford and when I arrived Meg ,the technician, immediately came out to my car and showed me what button I had accidentally pushed. Meg also showed me how to correct this problem. This process took 5-10 minutes. Later that day Tim text me to find out if I was satisfied with the resolution of the problem. Tim and Meg went above and beyond to provide assistance and support. I’m glad I purchased my car at Stratford Hyundai, but instead of changing to my local dealership I continue to drive the hour to the Stratford dealership because of their Service Department which is dedicated to providing assistance to customers. When it’s time for me to purchase a new car I will do so at Stratford Hyundai, given I know the quality of service and support I have always received over the past 6 years that I have been attending the Service Department for regular car maintenance. Thank you again Tim and Meg for taking the time to help me and ensuring that I was satisfied that the problem had been resolved to my satisfaction. Sincerely Very Satisfied Customer

I brought my vehicle in for a recall they don't have loner car for you when they need to keep your vehicle for more than a day secondly I went to pick up my vehicle the next morning the service advisor had said the car was left in side because it had under bodyguard done so I went outside to find the vehicle was left outside over night and there was freezing rain the car was frozen over and I didn't have a winter scrapper so I was able to drive the vehicle up closer to the building so I can leave the vehicle warm and defrost the windows all of a sudden I basically being verbally attacked to move my vehicle instead of offering me a snow scrapper and was told that I'm not special and need to move the vehicle I have been buying santa fe from this location bank street hyundai for a long time 4 vehicle's this will be the last one when you buy your vehicle they treat you like you are very important to them then the service advisor get there hands on you I just felt so disrespected thanks for this terrible experience Garry service advisor

You decide if you want to do business with Pathway. Bought Elantra in 2022 when used cars were very scarce. Elantra' s engine has been diagnosed as " needs to be replaced". Warranty was extended to ten years because of known problem. Car is over ten so NO HELP. Car will be scrapped Monday morning for parts Dealership quotes two prices- Financed or cash- they still do Car was certified but had front and back fenders cracks. Fixed by putting caulking on them. Sloppy job. A 5 year old kid could have done a better job. Had to fix problem myself. Exhaust system was noisy. A piece had to be replaced. Once fixed by a trusted mechanic a small ticking sound could be heard. Again car was taken in to a trusted repair shop and it needed a full tune up. This is within 6 months of purchase. Car taken in to Pathway for PAINT RECALL. Service person filling in the request for recall diagnosed ENGINE KNOCK at service entrance ( This is not a mechanic but a clerk ). Guess the problem had been recorded in the vehicle record as it had been maintained by Pathway in the past but hidden at time of sale. Got the recall work done and decided never to do do business with this dealership again. Picking up a replacement vehicle vehicle from tomorrow. DEFINITELY NOT FROM PATHWAY or made by HYUNDAI

Visited Thornhill Hyundai for my second oil change and both time after the oil change I have oil leaks which has destroyed my drive way with oil stains. At the service department there is poster which says factory trained Hyundai technicians and Hyundai genuine parts designed and engineered specifically for your Hyundai . I have had a very bad experience with Bolton Hyundai. I am writing feedback after 3 months of my car purchase. I bought a Tucson 22 model, and they gave me full assurance that this is a certified car and all, but just after 2 months, it started giving an issue of oil leakage. When I went to them for the issue, they suggested I get the fuel injector cleaned and charged me $350. They said that this came under wear and tear. If it is part of wear and tear, they could check it before giving it to the customer. How come wear and tear happened just in 3 months. Their sales team is very smart and can sell anything to you at a high price. Once the car is sold, they least bother about the service. Don't get into that trap. I am escalating the issue to Performace Group as well as Canada Hyundai for a better resolution. Jagdeep

Been waiting 8 calender days and no return call made to me regarding status. Ive called in 3 times during the 8 days. My advisor has been off for 4 of them I was told he will call me on Thurs. He did not call me. Asked for service manager. |Told he is in a meeting at 4.38 pm. Now told my advisor will call me on Saturday. Like hes called me before??????? Broken shock my fault. Qauison charged an assessment fee before looking at a warranteed issue. Road tested, issue was re produced. Somehow the technician claimed they couldn't re produce the issue. Video of the issue exists. Carrie is an assistant service manager and personable. She has to follow Quaison's unethical decision. Hyundai customer service is remarkably useless. No one appears to be trained in what they sell . The recalls , or campaigns on the vehicle places it into about 10 dealer visits within 3 years.

I had a horrible experience at this location last I was here which led me to switch Hyundai locations. Overall unacceptable treatment from management to dilute my situation last I was here. My engine gave out for a 2017 vehicle, I got it covered under warranty. Shortly after this happened I then had issues with my cadlytic converter (seems a little bit too aligned). The service representative and management told me this was not covered under warranty and I had to pay $3000 out of pocket for this, because I already got my engine covered. After switching locations, I was told the cadlytic converter is ALSO covered under warranty. When I was told this wasn't covered under warranty at Oakville location by management and the service department, I wanted my dad to speak with him and management said he would talk to my dad. My dad attempted to call him several times and he did not answer my dad-intentionally. Do not go to this location. Unprofessional service, misinformation to customers, and poor quality of service will find you here. Do yourself a favour and go to another location. Every time I went here there was a new problem with my vehicle- so dishonest.

Motor blew in my 2017 Tucson with only 80,000km on it. Brought it to the dealership to find that there was a recall in 2021 that I was not aware of. It took over 10 days for them to look at the vehicle, made me collect every oil change receipt for them to say I did not maintain my vehicle. after 13 days they submitted their findings to Hyundai Canada, who then denied the recall claim. Shame on you Superior Hyundai and Hyundai Canada. This is a problem caused by your manufacturer on your motor. There was a recall that you will not go good for. After owning 3 Hyundai vehicles, I will never purchase another, nor will I ever recommend a Hyundai vehicle. Not to mention Superior Hundai also attempted to make me purchase 4 new tires for an all wheel drive vehicle I don’t even own. I may be a female but be assured I am not stupid.
