Service was great as usual The customer service I recieved from the minute I drove in, through the quote, inspection, service, and return of my vehicle was top notch. Brittany was personable, knowledgable, and attentive. She remember me by name when I returned to pick up the vehicle. This is not the first time I have brought my vehicles to North Star ford for service and wont be my last as their people have always treated me well. My only issue was the amount I had to pay to have my 3 issues looked at was each charged seperatly by the hour rate, even though the total inspection took less then an hour. I know this is typical dealership and big business policy but it still bugs me every time :) More

Big work, reasonable cost The timing chain of my 4 year old F-150 stretched and was causing all sorts of issues and internal damage to cogs. As this was just outside of the wa The timing chain of my 4 year old F-150 stretched and was causing all sorts of issues and internal damage to cogs. As this was just outside of the warranty period, it was my responsibility to cover all costs. This was quoted to be a 3-day job with a number of new parts to be purchased. Mitch at Northstar was friendly, clear and accurate in his communication and provided great updates and follow up throughout the process. The net result was the work was completed in 2.5 days and the final bill came in about 20% below the quoted price (which was more than appreciated). Northstar's service dept. met all of my expectations for this work and I would recommend to others. More

Attentive Service Rep Mitch was very attentive and ensured I was well informed of the cost of service before authorizing the work. My issue is more with Ford and its warranty provisions. As part of my service, it was determined the gear shift needed to be replaced which was a $400 surprise plus $75 charge to determine what the problem was. Given the vehicle is only 3 yrs old with just over 60,000 Km, it seems to me Ford should cover such a cost. I didn't push the issue with Mitch assuming he has no control over what Ford / dealership covers and does not. More

Damian went above and beyond!!! I had a reoccurring reservoir leak on my 2008 F350 in which i felt the service should have been covered as it was faulty and i had already paid for it I had a reoccurring reservoir leak on my 2008 F350 in which i felt the service should have been covered as it was faulty and i had already paid for it to be fixed twice. After much debate with others team members regarding this, Damian took control of the situation and booked me in. The leak has been fixed and Ford absorbed the complete cost. So far so good with the leak... Really Apprentice it, thanks Damian! John More
