A family tired of paying these outrageous gas prices. After over a year of putting off buying a new car, we were reminded of a salesman we liked named Rob McKenzie at our Maple Ridge Volkswagen dealership After over a year of putting off buying a new car, we were reminded of a salesman we liked named Rob McKenzie at our Maple Ridge Volkswagen dealership to whom we first met a year ago. We took out the Volkswagen Jetta and liked it but wasn`t ready to part with our money on a new car and thought used might be the option......A year goes by and this last gas price increase of over $1.50 A LITRE! made me mad. I read the article in our Van province paper about a diesel Jetta that would get almost 1300 kms to the tank!!! In other words, drive from Maple Ridge to Calgary and still have a bit left! That was more than good for me and returning to buy off of the Rob/ Adam team here at Maple Ridge Volkswagen was a good experience that my wife and I needed to pass on to all readers of this site. Good laid back service with 2 men that believe in their product. Any questions answered with a poker like face saying " Take her out and find out for yourself !" After our test drive we knew we had found the comfortable, fuel economy Jetta waiting for us!!!! In a nutshell, had to have the fully loaded model as it looks like a million bucks and the guys threw in a gift of a Hover vacuum cleaner! My wife is still waiting for Rob ( the Coach ) to come over for our cleaning demo!!! I have told Adam and Rob that we are extremely happy with this experience and they can use our names and phone number to chat further to who ever might want a second honest opinion. Our Second Car My wife and I just purchased our second car from Maple Ridge Volkswagen and our third car from David P. Our first car was not a VW but we followed David to MR VW... and we are so glad he did because we love our VW's. I've never thought of David as a "Salesman" but more of a friend with our best interest at heart. We have never regretted our purchased through him as he has always put us in the perfect car at the best price. He has been very patient with my wife and I (and our 3 young kids in tow) and listens to what we want. He carefully explains the details of each car and any time we pop back into the dealership for anything he is always comes through the front doors with a big smile and wave and makes us feel like we are the only people he deals with. David is truly a great guy and we hope he never leaves. More

He worked tirelessly from the test drive right through to making sure the vehicle was perfect when we drove it off the lot at the end of our visit. The entire Maple Ridge VW team worked hand in hand to find us the exact vehicle we had in mind and laid out the perfect financing plan which matched our budget. Adam played a key role in getting us the deal we wanted and Aaron was extremely pleasant and efficient in putting through our financing papers. Came back to see Nigel, the parts manager, the following morning. He got us the best deal on the exact set of custom rims and tires we pointed out the day before, and threw in a few perks to go with them. Fantastic experience overall. Made for a very satisfied new owner of a 2014 VW. More
