Lousy Sales Dept. I have bought a couple of used vehicles from this dealership before, with no problems. Wanted to upgrade to a new Doge 1500, quad cab. Test drove a couple of trucks and picked one I liked, the only thing was that I wanted a different colour, the salesman found a truck on the island with more options which I was willing to pay for. Dealer couldn't get that truck but the salesman informed me that he found another one and it had everything except the back up camera. Days went by and still no truck, the salesman took some money off, I thought this was a goodwill gesture, not the case. I took receipt of the truck and it had NO options, less than the truck I test drove. Needless to say, not very happy. Met with the sales manager and he made some very minor concessions. This all being said the salesman lied and the sales manager did not follow through. Save your time and go to Jim Pattison in Surrey. More
Waste of time and sooo many lies I went to this dealer to buy a new dodge dart. I dealt with Tom because I knew someone who had purchased from him before. Im going to make this short. I went to this dealer to buy a new dodge dart. I dealt with Tom because I knew someone who had purchased from him before. Im going to make this short. I never managed to buy a car from them. He took a deposit from me and sold the car out from under me three times. With tons of lies. Once he told me he found me one on the island and it would be here the next morning. Called me the next day and said that because there was a storm forecast the dealer was not willing to risk putting the car on the ferry. OOOOkay...turns out he sold that one and was rushing around trying to replace it with another one. Found me a different one...just a couple grand more. Fine. Sold that one. Found a new one. A couple grand more again. I finally told him to stuff it and waited two days to get my deposit refunded. More
Factory ordered a vehicle Started by letting the sales person know I want a ram 1500. He then asked me if I'm trading anything in. I replyed yes my current f350 king ranch. S Started by letting the sales person know I want a ram 1500. He then asked me if I'm trading anything in. I replyed yes my current f350 king ranch. Sent him a picture. So we made arrangements for to come in. Once I came in the sales person had someone look at my truck and grabed my insurance papers. They insisted that we can factory order the ram 1500 limited Eco diesel. Beautiful truck and we can make it work within my budget. When we agreed on the numbers I signed off and gave them a deposit. After a few months my truck came in and I was called to come to pick up my truck. I asked for them to pre-aproove me so no one wastes any time. I came in a few days later after the approval was good. Once I arrived I was shown the truck. Typical in making me fall in love with this truck. After a few hours at the dealership and them getting my paperwork for my current truck. They now came to Me and telling me that my payments will increase do to my trade. Suppositly it's in bad shape. Ya right. It was a weekend car. I drove the truck 30,000 km in three years. It's now a 6 year old truck. bla bla bla. Bottom line is. They didn't know I was bringing in a trade at the time of being promised the first payments. Really. So what was the conversation about, when we talked about my trade in. A dealer warned me of this taktic. It's a typical practice in promising wheather unreasonable or not. Just to have you sociologically buy the car and then giving the customer no choice under this influence but to purchase a vehicle at a price they didn't want. Or basically at a higher cost than first promised. Oh and to top it off. I now know they did this simply to get a factory order on a limited truck with a customers name on it since the factory only let's the dealer have three limited rams if not pre-ordered by customer. So wheather it was intended for me or not. Now they have an awesome truck they can make lots of money on since it's a rare limited truck and they didn't use their 3 orders yet. A perfect reason why still most people think car dealers are crooks. Cheers to all. Langley Chrysler. Way to go. More
I was happy until our sales person took my keys under the guise of "appraising my trade". I could see our vehicle was never inspected (it was right outside the window) and I was never given its value. Our sa guise of "appraising my trade". I could see our vehicle was never inspected (it was right outside the window) and I was never given its value. Our salesperson then gave us 2 vastly conflicting numbers. A 27000 all in total purchase price and a 223 biweekly payment over 9 years. That bi weekly payment puts the total cost well over 40000. When I said I would think it over the salesperson insisted we drive the new vehicle home to think it over. I don't appreciate having to argue for 10 minutes that I want the keys to my vehicle back and that I am not interested. They also seem to pay for reviews as the people who I know bought vehicles there said they received discounts for positive reviews. More
