"Excellent friendly service"

A few hours before leaving on our holiday, we discovered one of the tires on our Mazda 3 was torn. We brought it in and we amazed at the efficiency and friendliness we experienced. Our problem was rapidly solved and we were on our way.

I didn't buy my Mazda 3 from this dealership but while on vacation in Nanaimo I required a part. The parts department just closed but Doug Culham, the Sales Manager, was in the sales office. He got me the part without hesitation & treated me with friendliness and respect.

"Friendly, professional service Harris Mazda"

I have been a customer with Harris Mazda since it's inception, and will continue to do so since my latest purchase of a new 2015 Mazda 5. Having had a dealership in the past, I know how important it is to have the reputation of an honest, reliable and friendly business in the community. This only comes from the top, surrounded by staff who will compliment the everyday dealings of the company. I have noted happily, that after being a customer for nearly ten years, that this dealership is unique in it's self. It definitely is a "feel good" local business. I was fascinated by Tyler Lavin, the young delightful sales person who greeted us with a big smile and a warm handshake on the lot. I had been looking for a new vehicle but not particularly that day. I had come to have my Mazda serviced. I left the dealership with my son-in-law, my Van serviced and sparkly clean, and an agreement in hand on a new Mazda! There was no pressure to buy a car that day from Tyler. He was honest and fair, playing out various scenarios. He definitely would have been a wonderful asset to our dealership. "Above and beyond"

I bought a 2011 Mazda 3 Sport from this dealership a few years ago and have brought it back for every single one of its tune-ups. The service department here is incredible - in my opinion, no other dealership will go to the lengths that Harris Mazda does. Time after time I am offered amazing customer service in a quick and timely manner. Derek Pohl helped me today and he was friendly and understanding.

"Excellent outcome"

Actually I arrived at Nanaimo's Harris Mazda to have my 2005 Mazda3 serviced. I have, for some time, been considering the purchase of a new (or lightly used) Mazda CX3 or CX5. BTW, I purchesed my 2005 Mazda3 new from what was then Christensen's Mazda. While I waited from the service department to finish I talked to Tyler Lavin about the CX3. As I outlined what features I wanted he pointed out that they had a used one with less than 1,000 kms. It had all the features I required, plus some desireable but not necessary AND it was in the colour I wanted (Soul Red). Tyler was helpful and not pushy (a deal killer if he had been). After a test drive I decided that my wait was over, so I bought it! It was a good choice as the CX3 fits my lifestyle perfectly (besides I already have a Miata for summertime).

"Tire Repair Gone Wrong, Fixed"

Had a tire repair which had issues Jim Graham fixed the issues and made the repair satisfactory to our liking. Went above what he had to do to fix the issue.

Harris Mazda your service representative Jason Barth is an unfortunate example of the smoke and mirrors, shifty, quick talking,up-selling,recommend fixing things that don't need fixing..bad service station, we have been warned against by our parents. From a business perspective Harris Mazda..yes Jason did save you a few hundred bucks by denying his errors,but in covering his butt lacked insight of the thousands of lost service dollars that myself ,and my wife, and my children, and other family members will now be spending at the more reputable dealership just next store to you! So..enough of me reviewing your choice of your ethical representatives...and perhaps Harris Mazda time for you to review!! Lost Customers

"Do not stand behind their tires"

Tires i bought leaked. Initially wanted to charge to fix and had a poor experience with service attendent. GM offered to fix after initial complaint on this site. Hopefully future visits will be more positive. Will be getting my clutch fixed there and hopefully change to five star.

Hi Cory, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. My name is Tony Harris and I am the General Manager at Harris Mazda. My office is just off the showroom and my door is always open. That said, I am sorry to hear you are frustrated. I understand we filled up your tire on Friday and then scheduled you to come in today for the repair of your tire. To be clear we will always take care of a manufacturer defect in a tire; a typical tire manufacturer offers a 100,000 km warranty that is pro-rated based on tread wear . In the event the leak is due to a nail puncture or some other road hazard this type of repair is not covered by warranty. Cory, we certainly wouldn't want to lose a valued customer over this. We would be happy to take a look at the tire, determine the cause of the leak, and fix the problem at your convenience. If it is not a manufacturer defect we will cover the repair on the house this time. Many thanks. Tony
