Dear shkt_knight, Thank you for your review and for the communication regarding your daughter’s vehicle. Unfortunately, there are a few things below that are not quite accurate and some items that have been left out. Please let me clear some of these things up a bit. The first time we saw your daughter’s car, after she purchased it, she had driven almost three thousand miles and had run it so hot that the hoses and plastic pieces were white. We explained at this time how important it is to not drive a vehicle with a coolant light on. We assisted with the cost of this repair. The second time your daughter brought her car in for service she had driven it over seven thousand miles. We diagnosed the car, gave an estimate, then gave a very large discount on the repair (75%). During much of this time your daughter was in a loaner car. The only time we asked for the loaner car to be returned was when she declined the cost to repair ($400) and declined the offer to purchase the car. It has come to my attention that your daughter purchased an extended warranty on the car, not from us. This was never mentioned in prior conversations. As stated before we did offer to purchase the car from your daughter, we did take the over seven thousand miles driven into consideration. The purchase price included Capital paying for the current repair. So, no cost to your daughter. We continue to be interested in helping your daughter. She is professional, polite, and a very kind person. As for your contact with me and the rest of the staff at Capital… You emailed me on Monday the 13th at 2:03 PM, by 3:00 PM you had visited all three stores, in your sheriff’s uniform. Unfortunately, I was in meetings at that time. I was never “dodging” you, there was no reason for me to. As I said in my email back to you, at 3:13 PM, I would not be able to speak with you regarding your daughter’s car and/or purchase without her authorization. I recommended in that email that you simply reply to all when you request the authorization from your daughter and that she reply to all with confirmation. This never happened. In your capacity I am certain that you understand privacy laws and how important it is for protocol to be followed. Shkt_knight, I am happy to report that your daughter has a warranty for this vehicle, and we were able to get approval from them today to cover this issue. I’m sorry but my daughter did not drive the car until it was hot. The first time the car indicated that there was an issue with the coolant, she pulled over immediately. So if anything was melted as you stated it was like that when she bought it, because we made contact with the service department and brought the car in. The second time the car told her to stop and pull over and had the car towed in. She pulled over both times. Jessica a service advisor had told her that the car had previously ran hot before she purchased it. So you are not telling the truth sir. You should check with the service department before you submit a statement that is not true!! Because I’m almost certain that if she caused those damages, she would’ve had to pay for them. She didn’t, y’all covered the cost. Joe Gruen even stated that she did not die so when we all were on the phone. As for you trying to highlight the mileage that was driven is irrelevant, because it’s her primary vehicle it’s going to have miles. Doesn’t matter if she had driven the car 3-10,000 the car was bought with preexisting issues that should’ve been addressed before putting it on the lot for sale. Sir I had to visit you in my uniform, because I had to get off from work due to the lack of response she was getting from you or anyone at the dealership. I work from 4:30 am to 5:30 pm. Whether I was in uniform or not we needed answers that we were not getting answers for. My daughter is 22 years old and doesn’t understand that aspect of dealing with those type issues, so I’m her voice until she understands! I totally understand the privacy laws very well, however in the beginning we began communicating without her consent. You, myself, and Mr. Joe I have emails, if needed, because it totally wasn’t an issue discussing my daughter’s situation then. If it was so much of a privacy issue, you clearly just detailed everything on a public platform. I’m so glad that you found time to respond to a review, but not to the issue that was at hand. TO: shkt_knight Once your daughter’s vehicle was approved, we provided her with a rental car at our expense to lessen her inconvenience during the repair. We finished the work on her vehicle yesterday and informed her that it was ready for pick-up. We did a complete Quality Control check to confirm everything was completed. Mechanical issues can arise with highly technical cars and on rare occasions the issues aren’t resolved as easily as we’d like. I know that we offered to correct the issue, but also understand it is your place to accept or decline that offer. I am happy to know that Porsche Financial Services was able to assist you with your lease end needs, without the need to travel. I know that was much more convenient for you. Unfortunately, we are not given the same latitude with lease end vehicles, especially those that we did not originate the lease. I am happy to report that we are building a new Porsche stand alone facility that is to the latest Porsche standard and is much more aligned to what Porsche customers have come to expect. I have left messages for a return call in regards to concerns about my vehcle and have not received a call back for both service manager and service representative.Cameron is no longer there and Ryan who has taken his place does not return any calls that are left for him.
